● Web development is the process of building and maintaining a

website for the Internet or an intranet that is accessed through
a web browser and hosted on a server, either on on-premises
hardware or in the cloud.
● When we access a website, the part that we can directly
interact with is the front-end part of the website and the
background part that we cannot see and interact with is called
the back-end part of website.
● It uses coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJs,
python, php etc.
