COMMUNICATION AND CULTURAL AWARENESS

TOPIC: THE FIRST ECUADORIAN TO WIN THE GIRO D´ITALIA


RICHARD CARAPAZ
Movistar rider Richard Carapaz became the fisrt
Ecuadorian to win the Giro d´Italia on Sunday,
June 2, 2019. He finished fourth in the Giro in
2018. The Ecuadorian became only the second
South American to win the Giro. His Movistar
teammate, Colombia´s Nairo Quintana, was the
first in 2014.
