Lesson Plan in Mathematics II

First Quarter

I. Objective

A. Content Standard Read and write ordinal numbers from Ist trough 10th
B. Performance Standard Demonstrates understanding of whole numbers up to
1000,ordinal numbers up to 20th, and money up to Php
100
C. Learning Competency/Objectives The learner is able to recognize, represent, compare, and
order whole numbers up to 1000,ordinal numbers up to
20th, and money up to PhP100 in various forms and
contexts.
II.CONTENT Identifies the 1st through the 20th with the emphasis on
11th to 20th object in a given set from a given point of
reference.

Say: Last fiesta, the Elementary School of Barangay
Mahigos joined the 3 thousand Fun Run for school
children. Ethan volunteered to join. He wants to win the
fun run; he knows that it’s a big help for his studies. Every
morning he always exercise, practice and eat nutritious
food. When the result of the competition announced, he
got the 2nd place.

Ethan was very happy even though he didn’t get the first
place but then, he is proud because his attitude of being
patient, persevere and eating nutritious food for the good
health. He planned to join the next fun run.
