artificial fragrance

Many beauty brands add fragrance to their products to disguise unpleasant chemical scents. The
types of fragrances used are very diverse, ranging from artificial fragrances from chemicals to natural
fragrances and the use of essential oils. Many studies have shown that the content of perfume in
cosmetics is harmful to the skin

The dangers of artificial fragrances in cosmetics The occasional use of artificial fragrances is
dangerous, but no matter how these ingredients are in the cosmetics you use every day, over time
the potential for negative reactions on your skin gets bigger. Artificial fragrances are made from
possibly 3,000 chemicals, not all of which have been studied to be safe for the skin. For sensitive
skin, artificial fragrances can cause redness and irritation of the skin as well as acne breakouts. Even
more dangerous, for those who have allergies to the chemical content of fragrances, inflammation,
itching, respiratory problems will occur. For skin that does not show negative reactions when using
cosmetics with artificial fragrances, it does not mean you are safe. The effects of artificial fragrance
chemicals can slow down their build-up and are not visible on the surface of your skin, but there can
be inflammation below the surface of your skin

What about natural fragrances? Natural ingredients are indeed better for the skin, but not all
fragrances from ingredients used in cosmetics are safe. The addition of aroma from natural
ingredients to beauty products is carried out by means of a process of evaporation. In this process,
some ingredients become reactive and can cause sensitive reactions on the skin. If you enjoy using
cosmetics that smell good, choose ingredients that don't irritate your skin, namely melon, vanilla,
aloe vera (aloe vera), mango, coconut, cocoa butter, shea butter, and cucumber. Other fragrance
ingredients, such as lavender oil, rose flower extract, citrus fruits (lemon and orange), peppermint
and spearmint, and cinnamon can cause an irritating effect, although they are less likely than
chemical artificial fragrances.

In order to avoid skin problems, choose well the cosmetics you use, report the label and do a patch
test before disease. If you choose to use cosmetics that are completely fragrance-free, some beauty
brands that don't add artificial or natural fragrances to their products are Cetaphil, CeraVe, First Aid
Beauty, Paula's Choice, Drunk Elephant, Clinique and Hylamide.

the reason I chose artificial fragrances for cosmetics, so that we know better and better understand
about the dangers of artificial fragrances, and can choose artificial fragrances that are good for our
skin.
