Facebook is one of the most popular and biggest social media globally
that most of people worldwide use and access every day. It provides us
with smart and convenient features. Everything has two sides to it and
Facebook too has its benefits, its advantages and its disadvantages, its
harmful side to people. To be more specific concerning the side effects of
the social medium – Facebook, firstly, it can become addictive and weak
communication. In fact, today’s friends, family, colleagues no longer find
it fun and enjoyable to talk face-to-face because a lot of people daily
spend hours browsing/surfing Facebook, in other words, they are
becoming addicts. However, it still has a lot of benefits such as we can
connect many friends around the world, shopping, studying, entertaining,
watching the news, and everything else through Facebook. But we still
cannot deny the great harm it brings to people. Facebook can be very
useful to people if they can use it properly, and it can also have
unpredictable and serious consequences if misused.
