PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR DISTRICT ROLL-OUT TRAINING


ON THE EARLY LANGUAGE LITERACY AND NUMERACY (ELLN)
October 27-29, 2021

Project Title: District Roll-Out Training on Early Language Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN)
District: MINALABAC Division: CAMARINES SUR
Program Description: In compliance with Division Memorandum No. 354, s. 2021,
Minalabac District will conduct training-workshop on Early Language
Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN) to develop and enhance the
competence and knowledge of the teachers on early language and
literacy of the learners.
The 3-day roll-out training will be conducted in the district
through face to face to be participated in by the School ELLNP
coordinators who will cascade the training in the school level.

of Management:  3-day training (October 27-29, 2021)

Competencies: Through this activity, the participants will be able to:
1. Understand the electronic assessment instrument for
determining status of reading abilities and language
mapping.
2. Enhance knowledge and understanding on ways of making
ELLN relevant to teachers upon implementation of different
learning delivery modalities.
3. Demonstrate the administration and utilization of
assessment tools.
4. Instill strong commitment and advocacy towards language
and literacy.
Direct: 25 School ELLNP Coordinators
Beneficiaries: Indirect: Kinder to Grade 3 Classroom Teachers of the 25 schools in
Minalabac district
Budget Requirements  EXPENSES:
Miscellaneous/Training materials: P1,500.00
 Source of Fund: Registration Fee
Outputs: The participants are expected to produce
a) School-based action plan
b) Accomplished tools (BLIT and CRLA)
c) Job-embedded learning
In this phase, expected outputs are a) to perform duties and
functions as classroom teachers, b) to enhance teaching
competencies and commitment in serving the
pupils/learners
Organizational Outcome:  Improved learners’ performance in reading
 Improved teachers’ instructional competence
 Engaged teachers in the collaborative undertakings
Development Impact:  Enhanced teachers’ competence on language and literacy
 Improved teachers’ commitment to service
Activities: -Face-to-face training -Brainstorming -Coaching
-Lecture -Simulation/Workshop
Other Strategies/Activities: Request technical assistance from PSDS or other knowledgeable key
persons
