REPLY TO COMMENTS ON DOCUMENT "CT & VT CALCULATIONS FOR STRP" (PE-DC-415-510-E043-R1)

S No MAHAGENCO COMMENTS dated 08.10.2018 BHEL REPLY dated 26.02.2019

Due to provision of FGD & SCR ,if the sizing of Station transformer changes , CT & VT
calculations for Station transformer metering & protections needs to be revised by
1 CT & VT calculations revised as per 110MVA station transformer rating.
BHEL accordingly. In this context SLD for Station transformer metering & protections
shall also be revised.

(Ref. 4.2.3 page 5/7)CT 2B, core 2….Through fault current on LV2 side of ST should
2 be taken as (100 * 1000)/ (1.732 * 11 * 0.21 * 0.9) instead of (100 * 1000)/ Incorporated in revised document.
(1.732 * 11.5 * 0.21 * 0.9)

(Ref. 4.2.4 page 6/7) CT 2A, core 2….Through fault current on LV2 side of ST should
3 be taken as (100 * 1000)/ (1.732 *11*0.21*0.9) instead of (100 *1000)/ (1.732 * Incorporated in revised document.
11.5 * 0.21* 0.9)

In view of above, please accord approval on "CT & VT calculations for station transformer metering & protection" and "SLD for station transformer metering
& protection"
