Love cultivates possibility and promise without compromise.

As a product of love, Dahilayan

Forest Park is the place were adventure happens. With an assortment of recreational activities that
will surely remedy your existential crisis, it is in every adrenaline junkies’ bucket list!

HISTORY
When the Paras family first saw the land, which is now known as Dahilayan Forest Park, in 2003,
they were completely captivated by the opportunities that it presents. The site, which is 4,300 ft
above sea level, sits at the slopes of Mount Kitanglad in Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Although the land was ravished by the abuses perpetrated by men (illegal logging and kaingin),
the optimism of their family outweighed the uncertainties. To remedy the barren state of the
foothills, Carribean Pines were planted starting 2004 and a total of 5,000 trees were thriving by
2005. To their surprise, the trees were more or less five meters tall by 2006. Slowly, the area
began to flourish and by 2008 the idea of building a weekend home for the family was
considered. However, out of the abundance of their hearts, instead of keeping it just for
themselves, they labored to share it all in public in 2010. This major decision came with the
commitment to offer a taste of abroad with the humble corner of our island. And this instigated
the Paras and his family to conduct various benchmarking activities in New Zealand, Switzerland,
United States, Australia and all others.

RIDES
After the soft opening of the park, Dahilayan became the talk of the town. Spreading from one
pleasantly mesmerized tourist to another. This sudden rise to fame resulted in an unprecedented
boom in tourism within the area. It pressured the owners to introduce more activities in their
arsenal.
