PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Revision History
A nonionic, non-fluorescent, and azide-free sheath fluid for
use on Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX flow cytometers.
Revision AA, 09/2014
SUMMARY Initial Release
In flow cytometers, cells are guided in single file through a
laser beam using a process called hydrodynamic focusing.
This is accomplished when cells are injected into a sheath
stream of diluent that is directed through a flow cell for
analysis. CytoFLEX Sheath Fluid is manufactured for low
particulate and fluorescence background to ensure
superior signal to noise ratio measurements during the
analysis process.

PRINCIPLE
The diluent is composed of high quality water with an anti-
microbial compound.

REACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Anti-microbial compound.

PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Do not fill the flow cytometer sheath tank near
the instrument to prevent damage to the instrument
electronics.

Remove the sheath tank from the instrument before filling.

Refer to your CytoFLEX instrument IFU for detailed filling
instructions (PN B49006).
