Introduction:

Graduation day is always a day of rejoicing, for it marks the


conclusion of an educational journey and
the commencement of another more uncertain and more
difficult part of man’s quest for a better life and future. Truly,
today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in
the relentless pursuit of knowledge: knowledge that will
enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on
challenges with clear vision and purpose.
This has been a year of challenge and change in educational
system due to Covid 19 Pandemic that caused school
closures, remote learning and resources disparities.
However, it is during these times that we unite and
collaborate in meeting the needs of our learners. Despite the
pandemic situation we are all facing, we still see our learners
trying to put their best foot forward in overcoming such
obstacle in their learning.
So to start with, the most awaited event has never been
made possible without the support of the equally and highly
esteemed individuals from the schools division of Surigao
del Sur led by the dynamic schools division superintendent
Dr. Josita B. Carmen, the epitome of an empowered woman
and our active schools district supervisor Maam
Gemmalynda Montenegro, our dedicatedand young at heart
school head l Dr. Maria Elena Morales. To our barangay
officials headed by our very supportive barangay captain,
honorable Russel M. Lavilla. Other distinguished men and
women of the entire community, colleagues, members of the
graduating class;proud parents, guardians, friends, ladies
and gentlemen a pleasant and joyous viewing to all.
Matho Integrated Secondary school proudly presents its first,
virtual Graduation and completion Ceremonies for this
school year 2020-2021. With the theme: Strengthening
Quality EducationAmidst Covid 19 Pandemic.

virtually the main highlight of todays event. To do the honors
of presenting this school year’s candidates for graduation

Talent and skills are the crops that are nurtured, groomed and given all possible opportunities to
grow and bloom. Graduation day is the celebration of the harvest of this crop. This is a much
awaited event in every students life, as it gives the returns to the efforts put in by the students
throughout their academic endeavor. It is a day full of joy, a day about pride and
accomplishment, a day of celebration. It gives a sense of achievement and a sense of
responsibility towards fulfilling further commitments. It fills the heart with mixed feelings --
fulfillment and sadness, anxiety and eagerness. Say goodbye to the comfortable and secure life
within college walls. Get ready to march to the beat of the business world.
There's a lot more to come: goals, challenges, and opportunities! Anything is possible when you
just believe in yourself.

The manifestation of oratorical excellence is graciously seated on the dais today. The well
known persona is now ready with his weapon of eloquence to make us all spell- bound to his
speech.
 

GRADUATION DAY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cell phones and handy cams are strictly prohibited inside the auditorium.
2. The candidates awaiting the conferment of their degrees shortly, are expected maintain
silence.
3.  Let not your enchantment violate the decorum of the institution in any form
4. Your professionalism is solicited throughout the program.
5. The fresh recipients of the degree are asked to take their respective seats.
6. Some of the instructions to be strictly followed by the candidates assembled here for the
conferment of their degree are;
a. To receive the degree, the candidates are asked to make use of the left side stairs to
reach the stage and climb down the right side stairs while getting back to their
seats.
b. Rise up while the academic procession enters the auditorium and resume standing
until the academic procession gets settled on the dais
c. Take your seats after all the members of the academic procession get seated on the
dais.
d. When the chairman administers the pledge the fresh recipients of the degree are
requested to stand and repeat the oath.
e. When the chairman confers the degree by the power vests with him, the fresh
recipients of the degree are requested to remain silent.
f. After conferment of the degree, the fresh graduates are asked take up their seats.
g. The fresh graduates are asked to rise up again while the academic leaves the
auditorium after conferment of the degree.

Night High School 2014 Graduate Commencement Exercises are about to begin.

 Good morning everyone. This has been teacher Cel and I’ll be your host for today.
I’m delighted to be here to our 2013-2014 Commencement Exercises.
 You know why I am very delighted? It’s because graduation day is always a day of
rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of our educational journey and the
commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s quest
for a better life and future.
 Friends, welcome to the Commencement Exercises of Don Vicente Rama
Memorial National High School and Basak Community Night High School.

The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.  ~Aristotle That’s why right now
calls for a great celebration of the fruit of your success. And there are also people who
were instrumental of your success that we should be thankful for this morning because
they put you up and suppported you through out this time.
Members of the graduating class, advisers, DepEd officials, Faculty, Administrators, and
guests good morning and welcome to our  Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High
School and Basak Community Night High School 2014 Graduate Commencement
Exercises.
It’s always pleasure to have family and friends of our students visiting our campus.
Welcoming you here for this morning’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our
graduates and celebrate their achievements.
For the information of everyone, Commencement also provides an opportunity to
recognize outstanding faculty and Staff – who are dedicated to providing the highest
quality education and to making a positive difference in the lives of our students.
Would the representatives of faculty rise? (Pause) please join me in saluting our faculty
with a round of applause. (Applause)
We would like to thank DepEd officials, Cebu City officials and PTA officials for their
ever undying support for our school. Let’s give them around of applause please.
Of course, those who deserve the most recognition are those who graduate today.
Those who entered this room as students and who will leave as Don Vicente Rama
Memorial National High School and Basak Community Night High School alumni. Let’s
give them a thundering round of applause.
Lastly, a special thanks to members of the Commencement Committee who spent many
long hours planning this day and to the many others that have helped to organize and
plan this commencement.

distinct privilege to introduce to you our honorable PTA President, Mr. Nelson G.

And now, let’s move on to the Presentation of candidates of graduation. Actually,
Commencement is a special time for our graduates who completed the requirements of
graduation. Now, may I call on our dearly beloved Dr. Eileen Irina O. Tayactac, our
School Principal and Mr. Juan Damasceno D. Villaver  the School head, Don Vicente
Rama Memorial National High School Night. And, Engr. Lolito Tolero, School head, from
Basak Community Night High School to present the candidates for graduation.
This will be followed by the recommendation for confirmation of candidates for
graduation headed  by Mrs. Rizalinda Cairo, PSDS OIC -South District 1.
Afterwards,  the confirmation of candidates for graduation will follow. To be given by
our well-respected School Division Superintendent Dr. Rhea Mar A. Angtud.

song that will inspire us to go on. In fact, music is the expression of the soul. It moves
emotion and feels with movement of tears. Through the song that emphasizes that if
you believe, everything you dream, will come true.Let’s all sit back and enjoy as we
watch the graduating class perform to sing, This World is Yours.
The Closing has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await for
our graduates that will further test their meetles as improving individuals.  Ladies and
