The school can address SDG#12, which talks about Responsible Consumption and Production as
schools are often one of the areas where a high amount of waste originates from, as students and staff
consumes a lot of consumables such as paper, and food to name a few. Students, while well-educated,
are also often don't have a regard for proper consumption of goods as they often don't mind the number
of resources at their disposal. As long as it is available, they wouldn't mind until it is gone. The school can
push of conservation of materials by means of incentivizing individuals to conserve and reduce
consumptions of goods, which would be beneficial for the environment.
