1. To ensure the fulfillment of maternal mortality reduction, The Oromia Regional

Government has allocated budget for construction of Comprehensive Health Post at
Arero Woreda Hirmaye Kebele of the Borena Zone, the list of which is tabulated
underneath.
2. Borena Zonal Health Offices now invite wax sealed bids good eligible bidders to all
national contractors of class GC/BC 5 and above that shall submit Certificate of
Registration from Construction Minister / Oromia construction Authority renewed
for Current Budget Year and who have renewed their Trade license for the current
fiscal year and have got VAT registration certificate, registered in supplier list & Tax
Clearance Certificate valid during the bidding period from the Concerned
Governmental Body.
3. Bidding documents shall be purchased from Respective Zonal Finance Office, For
nonrefundable fee of birr 500 (five Hundred Birr only) during working hours
commencing from date of printed on newspaper. The method of payment will be in
cash.
4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by a bid security of 500,000 ET. Birr in the form of CPO, or
unconditional bank guarantee valid for 28 days beyond bid validity date and shall be
delivered to the respective Zonal finance & Economic Development office. The bid
will be closed on the 22nd day from date of bid advertisement in the
morning, at 4:00pm and opened on the same date at 8:30pm local time
at which time the bid Document will be opened, in the presence of the
bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. Late bids shall be
automatically rejected.
5. Client reserve full right to reject bidders with poor past work performance against
their scheduled project completion time, with poor work quality records.
6. Submission of Supportive documents for good reputation/post work
performances/from previous employers, is very helpful.
7. Client reserve the right to reject any or all Bids.
