video games games nowadays have some
sort of ranked ladder that
players can climb. What has
intrigued me throughout my
years of playing such games,
is how does an algorithm
know the respective skill
levels of players in order to
match them up against each
other in as balanced of a
match as possible.

daily basis have an
interesting chemical makeup.
Additionally, seeing the
effects it has on our health is
something that I feel must be

I’d like to do an essay on this topic and
subject because math has always been
something I found intriguing. Additionally,
throughout all the games I have played
some of them have been competitive
enough to warrant some sort of ranking
system within the game. These sort of
ranking systems have interested me as I
always wanted to know how they work and
how they can rank both me and the other
players, as well as how accurate it can be
at “predicting” skill levels.

I think first I would collect data regarding the
various beverages present locally and
measure their basic ingredients and
chemical makeup as well as acidity, then
talk to someone in the health sector
regarding the effects of such chemicals and
acids on the health of the teeth and mouth.
