Note (Opt-1)

The following tolerances are a requirement of EC2 for seismic situations:


TOC for Concrete Plinths and Foundations : +/- 5 mm
Bottom of steel for Structural Steel Baseplates : +/- 5 mm

Note (Opt-2)
The following tolerances are a requirement of EC2 for seismic situations
at locations of Column baseplates:
TOC for Concrete Plinths and Foundations : +/- 5 mm
Bottom of steel for Structural Steel Baseplates : + 0 mm /- 5 mm

Note (Opt-3)
To comply with EC 2-4 for seismic situations at locations of column baseplates the
fabrication and erection tolerances for steelwork and construction tolerances for concrete
elements should ensure a maximum grout thickness as follows:
6mm thick grout for 12 mm dia anchors
8mm thick grout for 16mm dia anchors
10mm thick grout for 20mm dia anchors
12 mm thick grout for 24mm dia anchors
