1. EXPLORATION TEAM’S

2. OIL WELL
The team's exploration is the initial stage in the production of oil and
gas to find oil reserves in the bowels of the earth. In this stage, activities are
carried out such as geological studies which aim to determine the structure of
the rock in the underground layer, geophysical studies that aim to determine the
characteristics of rocks from the surface to how many kilometers below it,
seismic surveys which aim to reconstruct the conditions below the ground into
two-dimensional or three- dimensional images. From various survey that have
been conducted, if an area is found to be known as oil and gas reserves, the

PIPELINE
After the oil and gas exploration stage succeed in finding the location
of oil reserves, the next stage of oil and gas production is carried out by making
oil wells. This stage aims to lift oil and gas reserves from the bowels of the earth
to the earth's surface, to be channeled through a pipeline to the refinery process.
4. REFINERY
Furthermore, the oil and gas that have been removed will be flowed
using a pipeline system, usually with this system crude oil will be flowed
thousands of miles with the aim of connecting oil wells to the refinery unit to be
processed into products.

5. TERMINAL
Refinery is one of the most important down stream parts in the
petroleum industry. After receiving crude oil distributed from oil wells, it will
then be processed into petroleum products that can be directly used such as
gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel and others.

Inside the oil refinery there is a terminal that functions to store crude
oil which will then be sent to all regions in Indonesia. Usually the terminal has
tanks above and below the ground to distribute oil and are located in refineries
or ports.
6. TANKER

7. PETROL PUMP
Furthermore, the oil will be picked up by tankers designed to transport
various types of oil, chemical liquids, to other types of liquid which will be
forwarded to consumers or areas that need it.

This is the last stage which is located at the gas station where any type
