Book Fair Week! Please stop by our Book Fair before or after school in our Library
and shop for some awesome books!

Our annual PTA Fun Run is underway! Thank you to all our students and parents and family members for
donating to their child’s run so far! It is incredible and it looks like I will be wearing a baby outfit and riding a
tricycle around our school. Yikes!

PTA News: Please join our PTA! It is an important organization and helps be the voice for your child
at the state level. Membership is only $6.00 and the Membership Drive runs through next month!

Miler’s News: Our morning running/walking program begins September 6th! Parents and
Grandparents are welcome to join their student each morning. The entrance is the bus gate and those
gates will open for Miler’s at 8:20 am with the program starting at 8:25 am. The gates will be locked
again at 8:35 am until the campus opens at 8:45 am. Students can put their back packs along the PE
room wall, get their cards, and start running/walking!

Spirit Dress Day Friday: This Friday is “crazy hair, hat, or socks” day. All spirit dress days are OPTIONAL.

Amazing Cox Cubs: Congratulations to the following students for earning PERFECT SCORES one their 2022 State
SBAC Tests in either Reading or Math! We had 14 students earn this achievement:

Did you know??? At Greenspun Junior High School six 6th grade students were moved ahead to 7th grade math? Out
of those six students in 6th grade…4 of them were Cox Cub Students!!!
