LESSON 11: MAINTAINING AND REPAIRING COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS (MRCN)

I. INTRODUCTION

Having been schedule, the periodic maintenance must be performed regularly. Let us now start practicing how to
maintain your computer system by doing the following activities.

II. ENGAGE

Activities:
Direction: Take pictures while performing the task. (Note: If computer system is not available, use your tablets or smart
phones and its accessories as materials.) Put it on your notebook.

A. Hardware Inspection
Perform hardware inspection.
Check the computers connection and configuration and check for the voltage output of the power
supply/adapter.

B. Software Inspection
Check for the ff:
1. Viruses
2. Unnecessary software
3. Drivers/Apps are installed

C. Network Inspection
Check the ff:
1. Router configuration/Hotspot
2. Internet connection
3. Proper cable connection

You will be assessed using the following criteria
