My mission now is deep expertise and consolidation of all the experience and exposure gained; I want to join research group with
research interest in Gas Hydrate or Alternate energy resources. My research interests have largely been shaped by my wish to
research on formation and dissociation mechanism of Methane-gas hydrate to increase productivity.

Depletion of natural resources, such as oil and coal, are one of the great global issues. India is heavily dependents on imports for
energy. As the population of India is getting increased, energy issues are very critical in near future. Recently, India promoted the
introduction of renewable energy, though the alternative choice must be prepared as well. Therefore, India started to investigate the
potential to produce methane gas hydrate from offshore India. India performed test drilling twice offshore India, by supported by
JAPAN and USA, and found the great potential for methane hydrate. However, less study of methane hydrate has been carried out in
India. Therefore, I seek to research on Methane Gas-Hydrate that advances my master thesis.

I am interested in understanding the change of rock-physical property induced by hydrate formation and dissociation, because this
physical-chemical reaction is linked to plan for a suitable gas production method. I am also interested in the effect of biosurfactant
on hydrate formation, because the biosurfactant will be used to control the gas production rate. Enhancing the rate of hydrate
formation by surfactants can have tremendous influence on commercialization prospect as this can facilitate the conversion of
natural gas into solid hydrates useful for storage and transportation of solid natural gas hydrates.

Recently South Korea has also carried out gas hydrate exploration project (UBGH2) at Ulleung Basin, East Sea of Korea. The Korean
National Gas Hydrate Program, Second Ulleung Basin gas hydrate drilling expedition has found different types of gas hydrate
accumulation in the Ulleung basin. Thus, there is large reservoirs of gas hydrae occurrence and production in Ulleung basin. Gas
hydrates could support global energy security problem especially for countries like India, South Korea & Japan etc. As the cleanest of
the fossil fuel options, natural gas could be an important source of energy for any future energy scenario.

I would really like to join Seoul National University department of Chemical Engineering who are working on exploration and
development of new energy resources. Also, department of Energy Resources & Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean
Engineering at Seoul National university are working on gas hydrate thus they can also help me by contributing in my research work
on methane hydrate.

Detailed Study Plan:

T1. Understanding the change of rock-physical property induced by hydrate formation and dissociation: Thermal
conductivity and specific heat are measure at low temperature and high pressure by using device which can measure thermal
properties.
T2. Evaluation of efficiency of biosurfactant as a promoter of methane hydrate formation: The objective is to explore
the various feasibility of using different type of biosurfactant as methane hydrate generation promoter. CMC of different
surfactants is measured because critical micelle concentration (CMC) is a vital parameter of any surfactant as it signifies the
efficiency of surfactant. The thermodynamics and kinetics of gas hydrate formation need to be studied to have a better
understanding of the process.
T3. Evaluation of various dynamic behaviour of hydrate bearing sediments of different reserves basins: Study to
determine the physical properties such as pH, TOC, TDS, salinity, conductivity, water content, density and porosity of the
hydrate bearing sediments. This work aims to analyse the physio-chemical and mineralogical properties of hydrate occupying
sediments of gas hydrate basin by by Raman Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy & X-ray Diffraction.

Expected Results of the Research:-

This physio-chemical and mineralogical analysis of hydrate bearing sediments data which can provide the useful data for the
methane production from the hydrate reservoir by adjusting the natural gas hydrate sediment properties and it can also help in
designing & developing a viable technology & method for the commercial production of gas from the gas hydrates.
Very few studies pertaining to effect of biosurfactants on natural gas hydrates formation has limited our knowledge and
therefore thus limiting the potential application of biosurfactants in gas hydrate generation, transportation and storage.
This research will also help in understanding the role of microbial secondary metabolites on methane hydrate generation at
natural sites.
Understanding the change of rock-physical property induced by hydrate formation and dissociation which help in designing
suitable method for methane hydrate extraction from gas hydrate bed.

Research study Timetable:-

1st year: T1 and T3 are carried out.

2nd year: T2 and T3 are carried out.
3rd year: Summarizing research data to write doctoral thesis & submit papers to international journals.

Also, I am interested to join Techno-MBA doctoral program and wanted to do research on the issues of Conflict mineral like cobalt
illegal mining at CONGO which is used for making mobile batteries and want to solve problem of ethical sourcing using technologies
like Block-chain , AI/ML & Video analystics to stop Child labor, because I have 2 years of experiences at Accenture, Bangalore, India
where I worked with different chemical, Petro-chemical and natural resources clients as a business analyst. Working on their
Business and IT Imperative. Supporting & Managing Business process management (BPM) tool application. With the Chemical
Industry domain knowledge I helped in building logics/Wire frames for Industrial pollution abatement application called as ENVIRO
which helps chemical industry in managing air pollution, water & solid waste in real time using SCADA system. Also built smart
supply chain - Sense & learn technology using telemetry & IoT technology to track gas cylinders in chemical industry, to efficiently
track and manage gas cylinder supply chain & procurement process. Built use cases & wireframe for Chemical Industry specific B2B
& B2C customer centric portal / app for frictionless ordering experience of chemicals. Worked on the RPA Automation opportunity for
the Super Specialty Chemical Client. Helped in Research & designing product price intelligences offering application using AI/ML to
predict Price of chemicals & Petro-chemical. At accenture I gain interest & experience in business analysis.

Now Currently I am working as a Research and Academic assistant at Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, working &
collaborating with the IIM professors research. Therefore, Techno- MBA doctoral course can help me in advancing my research and
