DISTRICTS OF KURNOOL , YSR (KADAPA ), CHITTOOR , ANANTAPURAMU ,

ANNAMAYYA , NANDYALA , SRI SATHYA SAI AND TIRUPATI DISTRICTS

(RAYALASEEMA REGION ), KRISHNA , GUNTUR , PRAKASAM , NTR , PALNADU &

BAPATLA DISTRICTS (ANDHRA REGION ) , FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF

SIX MONTHS BEYOND 15.07.2022 .

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Arms Act , 1959 (Central
Act.No.54 of 1959 ) read with the Government of India , Ministry of Home Affairs
Notification GSR 701 (E ), dated :15.07.2016 and under rule 3 of the Arms Rules , 2016 ,the
Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby further extends the ban orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.41 ,
Home (Arms ) Department , dated : 17.01.2022 on carrying sharp edged weapons of the
description contained in the Category -V of the Schedule -I of the Arms Rules , 2016 , in the
Districts of Kurnool , YSR (Kadapa ), Chittoor , Anantapuramu , Annamayya , Nandyala , Sri
Sathya Sai and Tirupati Districts (Rayalaseema Region ), Krishna , Guntur , Prakasam , NTR ,
Palnadu & Bapatla Districts (Andhra Region ) for a further period of six months with effect
from 15.07.2022 .
