ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
Organisational Structure is a system used to define hierarchy within an organisation. It identifies
each job, its function and where it reports to within an organisation. This structure is developed to
establish how an organisation operates and assists an organisation in obtaining its goals to allow
for future growth. The structure is illustrated using an organisational chart.

Having an organisational structure in place allows companies to remain efficient and focused.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE OF SUPER77


 Team Based Organization Structure:- Super 77 Company is a Team
Based Organization Structure. Team-based organizational structures are made of
teams working towards a common goal while working on their individual tasks.
They are less hierarchical and they have flexible structures that reinforce
problem-solving, decision-making and teamwork. Team organization structures
have changed the way many industries work.

 CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER:- The Chief Executive


Officer of Super 77 Company is Mr Amit Pandey. The chief
executive officer (CEO) is the top position in an
organization and is responsible for implementing existing
plans and policies, ensuring the successful management of
the business and setting future strategy.

 BUSINESS LEADER:-
The Senior Business Leader often carry titles such as vice
president or senior director and have responsibilities for one
or more functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance,
Operations, Engineering, IT, Legal, or Human Resources.
They run business units and geographic regions.

 BUSINESS MANAGER:- He is a person who manages the


business affairs of and individual, institution, organization,
or company. In many businesses, the role may be
established to relieve the owner of responsibility, in order to
focus on specific aspects of company expansion. Typically,
the business manager and the owner work may work in
synergy to ensure successful running of business.
 TEAM LEADER:- Team leaders serve various roles in an organization. Their
job is to get tasks done by using all of the resources available to them, including
other employees or team members. employees as they complete a project. They
are responsible for developing and implementing a timeline their team will use
to reach its end goal. Some of the ways team leaders ensure they reach their goals
is by delegating tasks to their members, including themselves.

 EXECUTIVE INTERN:-
All of us are familiar with the traditional definition of an intern. It's usually a student that you invite into your
business to lend a hand in exchange for course credit and some on-the-job training. It's a win/win situation.
The company wins from the experience of the intern for little or no money. The intern learns wins by learning
new skills that will prepare her for the next job.
FUNCTIONING OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS

There are 4 various departments in SUPER77 Company, they are:

1. Business Development:
Business development is essentially any activity
or idea that aims to make a business better over
time. This means making use of customers,
implementing strategic partnerships, using your
markets and building your company reputation. It
consists of two sub departments namely:
i. Sales: The product that Super77 deals with is ‘Leadership Development Program’. The sales are done by
executive interns of the company.

2. Human Resource:
A human resource department is the division of a company
that is responsible for effectively managing a company’s
human resources, which are its employees.
The human resource department’s mission is to make
sure the company’s employees are adequately
managed, appropriately compensated and
effectively trained. In Simplest terms, the HR Department
is a group which is responsible for managing the employee life cycle and administering employee
benefits.
The elements of HR Department of Super77 company are as follows: i. Recruitment.
ii. Selection. iii. Promotion. iv. Payroll.

3. Digital Marketing:
Digital marketing is the act of promoting and selling products and
services by leveraging online marketing tactics such as social media
marketing, search marketing, and email marketing. It refers to
advertising delivered through digital channels such as search engines,
websites, social media, email, and mobile apps. Using these online
media channels, digital marketing is the method by which companies
endorse goods, services, and brands.

4. Operations Department: Operations


managementhas the functional responsibility of
producing the services of an organisation and providing
them directly to its customers. Operations Department of
Super77 ensures that the product they offer is reached to
the target customer without any hindrances.
UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITIONS
Selling Proposition or Unique Sell Point is the one
feature or the perceived benefit of a product which
makes it unique from the rest of the competing
brands in the market. It is that very reason which
motivates a buyer to purchase that product even
though it might be costlier than other products.

It is a very important concept used during the time


when a company promotes its product through its
advertisements in both TV as well as print media which eventually attracts a consumer to buy a particular
product.

SPECIAL MARKETING PROGRAMS

is the process of getting people interested in your company's product or service. This happens through
market research, analysis, and understanding your ideal customer's interests Marketing pertains to all
aspects of a business, including product development, distribution methods, sales, and advertising.

Super77 has a B2B (Business to Business) marketing strategy where it sells its products to other companies,
institutions, corporate etc. Super77 majorly markets its products on the basis of referral model; here the
Executive Interns and other employees refers the product to the customers. Super77 does content
marketing by uploading testimonials(reviews) and various motivational videos in their social media pages.

Super77 also markets its products through various social media platforms like,
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
HUMAN RESOURCE PRACTICES

Human Resource is used to describe both the people who work for a company or organization and the
department responsible for managing all matters related to employees, who collectively represent one of
the most valuable resources in any businesses or organization.

Human Resource practices in SUPER77 include the following element:

• Recruitment.
• Selection.
• Promotion.
• Payroll.

1. RECRUITMENT:
Recruitment is the process of finding and hiring the best
and most qualified candidate for a job opening, in a timely
and cost-effective manner. It can also be defined as the
“process of searching for prospective employees and
stimulating and encouraging them to apply for jobs in an
organization.”

Super77 created job openings in the form of internship and


approached our college to offer internship. Later on
students had applied to the internship opportunity made available by the Super77 company.

2. SELECTION: Selection is the process of


picking or choosing the right candidate, who is
most suitable for a vacant job position in an
organization. In others words, selection can also
be explained as the process of interviewing the
candidates and evaluating their qualities, which
are required for a specific job and then choosing
the suitable candidate for the position.
3. PROMOTION:
Promotion means the advancement of an
employee to a higher job involving more work,
greater responsibility and higher status. It may or
may not be associated with the increment in
salary.

Promotion is one of the best forms of incentives


and it provides higher responsibilities, high
morale and job satisfaction to the employees.

In Super77 the promotion is based on the sales


that a Executive Intern does. After the Executive Intern is promoted as Team Leader, the further promotion
is based on the performance of the Team Leader in motivating the interns to do sales. In the given image we
can see the various levels of promotion of Super77 Company.

4. PAYROLL:
Payroll processing is one of the most crucial
yet complicated business processes.
Payroll is defined as the process of paying salary
to a company’s employees. It is the total of all
compensation a business must pay to its
employees for a set period of time or on
a given date. It is
usually managed by the
accounting or human resources department of a
business.
In Super77 the payment is based on the number of sales you do. An Intern gets 20% of the amount of sales
he/she does. A Team Leader gets 40% of the amount of sales he/she does and 20% from the amount of sales
the Interns do, who are allotted to them. Super77 also encourages the interns by paying bonus to the interns
doing the highest sales. Super77 pays the incentives of the interns on 7th of every month

(monthly basis)
BOOK KEEPING AND ACCOUNTING PRACTICES

BOOK KEEPING: Bookkeeping is the activity concerned with the systematic recording and classification of
financial data of an organization in an orderly manner. It is essentially a record-keeping function done to
assist in the process of accounting. It is a key component in forming the financial statements of the
organization at the end of the financial year.

ACCOUNTING : Accounting is all about the process that helps to record, summarize, analyse, and report
data that concerns financial transactions. Accounting is the language of finance. It conveys the financial
position of the firm or business to anyone who wants to know. It helps to translate the workings of a firm
into tangible reports that can be compared. So it is essential that we know the meaning of Accounting

Super77 uses Tally.ERP 9 as its accounting software for recording all of its financial transactions. Super77
records its transactions on weekly basis and compares them with the records of the previous weeks.
Super77 records each and every aspect of the transactions like name of the customer, product purchased,
payment method and the referral id of the intern responsible for that particular sale. It also records the
incentives paid to the interns and other expenses in the books of accounts.
INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

The domain for which I got selected in Super77 company was Business Development Executive. My role was
to interact with people and explain them about the product ‘Leadership Development Program’ which was
offered by Super77 and convince them to purchase the product.
We were given an online training just before we started our internship to explain us about the work we
were supposed to do, whom should we report, rules and regulations to be followed…etc. We all were
placed under different Team
Leaders/Business Leaders. Similarly I was placed under Ms. Riya, Business Leader, Sales and Marketing
Department. Two main things I have learnt is the importance of time management skills and self motivation.

My role at Super77 was as a Sales executive. This was my first internship and the
experiences with Super77 were good and a distinct experience apart from my
academics. This internship helped me to know how company works. At each day in
Super77 I have learnt and gained immense knowledge about how the real marketing
works and how marketing is done and its strategies as well as enjoyed the whole learning process. Initially it
was new to me and the task we were assigned was to make sales. I started working from the day I joined
influenced some people to join. But later it became hard as I had a less contacts and moreover it was a
pandemic time so some people couldn’t afford the fees. We also had a webinars and reward ceremony. On
the whole, this internship was a useful experience. We have gained new knowledge, skills and met many
new people. This internship experience played a vital role in building my communicating skills, listening skills
and presentation skills. This internship taught me the significant of making contacts with people and the
way to influence. I thank my college, my internship faculty, super77 for providing an opportunity to know
more about today’s world.
CONCLUSION

Internship provides a great opportunity and major advantages to the students. According to the tasks that I
carried out Super77, the experience I got has contributed a lot to the adjustment of theoretical knowledge
accumulated all along my academic studies.

Internship leads to improvement of students qualifications such as communication skills, report writing,
organizing at work, information required to do a work and ability to be in accordance with real and
professional applications of the managerial principles techniques.

This internship has been an excellent and rewarding experience. I can conclude that I have learnt many new
thing from my work at Super77. Moreover this internship indirectly helped me to learn independently,
discipline myself, be patient enough, self trust and taking initiative and solving problems on my own
effectively and efficiently.

In my 37 days of internship experience at Super77, I feel that I was able to learn as much as I could. The
internship experience has played a vital role in building my communication skills, listening skills and
presentation skills. I have also gained punctuality and ethical behaviour in the work area.

I have tried to perform all my duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The internship period left
me with sufficient knowledge and skills needed to be a competent employee in the future
I wholeheartedly thank the Internship Committee of Seshadripuram College and Super77 company for giving
me such a great internship opportunity.
