“Konke kwavela ngaye; ngaphandle kwakhe akuvelanga lutho kukho


konke okuvelileyo” (Johane 1:3).

“ onke” kwavela ngaYe uJesu, kodwa, ngokusho kwemiBhalo, “uJesu
wakhala” (Johane 11:35). UMdali wakhala? Nangaphezu kwalokho, uJesu
“waphikwa waphinde wedelelwa abantu; umuntu wosizi, odeleliwe nowazana
nokuhlupheka” (Isaya 53:3). UMdali, umuntu wosizi, odeleliwe waze waphikwa? Wake
wakhala wathi “Nkulunkulu waMi, Nkulunkulu waMi, ungishiyeleni? (Matt. 27:46).
Kwakungenzeka kanjani lokhu? Kungenxa yokuthi uJesu, uMdali wethu, wayebuye
abe uMsindisi wethu futhi, ngaleyo ndlela wayengobethelweyo kaNkulunkulu-uMdali
owathatha isimo somuntu, wahlupheka ephila impilo yokuhlupheka nokusebenza
kanzima, okwagcina ngokuthi aphanyekwe esiphambanweni samaRoma.
Kanjalo-ke uMdali wethu, esiphila ngaYe, sikhona ngaYe, sihamba ngaYe, siyikho
konke ngaYe” (Izenzo 17:28), wahlupheka njengomuntu ngezindlela esingeke thina
size sihlupheke ngazo. Singathwala kuphela olwethu usizi, okwethu ukudabuka;
esiphambanweni wathwala “ izifo zethu, wetshatha ubuhlungu bethu” (Isaya 43:4)—
bonke. Lesi yisenzo esimangalisa kakhulu kuwo wonke umlando womhlaba nezulu.
Njengoba sesinawo lomlando wokubethelwa kukaNkulunkulu, kulezinyanga ezimbalwa
ezilandelayo sizozama ukuqonda kangcono lokho okungaqondakali—ukuhlupheka

kwethu, ukuhlupheka kwamaKrestu, kwalabo abanikele ukuphila kwabo kuKrestu.
Asisho ukuthi sinazo zonke izimpendulo; esikushoyo ukuthi “uNkulunkulu uluthando”
(1 Johane 4:8) nokuthi yize zenzeka lezi zinto, singamethemba uNkulunkulu, sikhule
emseni ngenxa yazo noma kubuhlungu kangakanani.
Kulonyangantathu sizofunda iZwi likaNkulunkulu, sibone ukuthi abanye abantu
benyama negazi, nakuba benconywa ngokukholwa, nokho babhekana nokulahlekelwa
yithemba, ukukhashelwa, ukujabhiswa, ukulahlekelwa,
ukungabikho kobulungiswa, nokuhlukunyezwa
(akuzona yini izinto esizaziyo lezi?). Bahlangabezana Noma, njengokusho kuka
kanjani nalezo zimo, bafundani? Isibonelo sabo Ellen G. White: “Isiphambano

okungegwemeke kulomhlaba lapho khona isono silula njengokuphefumula. Esizozama
ukukutshengisa ukuthi ubuhlungu, ukuhlupheka, nokulahlekelwa akusho ukuthi
uNkulunkulu usishiyile; kusho ukuthi nathi thina abakholwayo, siyathinteka kolokho
okwenzeka kubo bonke abantu besono. Umehluko ukuthi, ngoJesu kanye nethemba
asinika lona, singathola ithemba nesizathu sokuphila lapho kubonakala sengathi
akusekho nesizathu sokuphila, nokuthi noma ngandlela thize, singaboni ukuthi
singasethemba kanjani isithembiso esithi: “konke kusebenzelana ukulunga kulabo
abathanda uNkulunkulu” (Rom. 8:28)—Yena loNkulunkulu owenza zonke izinto,
wahlupheka ngazo zonke izinto futhi (kungakho-nje simthanda).
