The chart gives information about the percentage of tourists to England who visited Brighton

attractions from 1980 to 2010.

It is clear, that the percentage of tourists going to art galleries and pavilions decreased, but piers and
festivals both increased. The number of tourists from 1980 to 2010 has changed significantly.

Pier was visited by barely 10% of visitors visiting England in 1980. The percentage of tourists
increased from 9% in 1990 to around 22% in 2010. The percentage of people that visited the Pavilion
climbed as well, from around 23% in 1980 to over 50% in 1995. However, this percentage dropped
dramatically after that, dropping to around 35% in 2000 and then to around 31% in 2010, somewhat
higher than the Festival.

Although 30% of them visited the Festival in 1980, by 2010 that number had dropped to 28%.
Tourists at the Art Gallery accounted for 21% of all visitors in 1980. It subsequently climbed to a
height of roughly 38%. In 2010, it fell below 10% for the first time. As a result, at the conclusion of
the time, it was the least popular attraction.
