Tomato Flu:

• Caused by – Virus.

• One of a kind of hand, mouth and foot disease.

• Name - the eruption of red colored painful blisters that expands to the size of tomatoes.

• Affects - children aged between 1-9.

Symptoms:

1. Sudden increase in body temperature

2. Severe body ache

3. Skin redness or rashes with constant itching.

4. Painful blisters

5. Fatigue and dizziness.

Treatment:

• Self-limiting disease - no specific drugs available.

Prevention:

• Control the spread.

 Patients should be isolated.

 Proper sanitation and hygienic surroundings.

 Medical attention required.

 Avoid scratching blisters and rashes.

 Provide a balanced diet with proper rest for speedy recovery.
