The Department of Education (DepEd), in its continuous efforts to uphold its commitment to learning continuity amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, advocates for the progressive expansion of face-to-face Classes. across the country. In line with this, the Division DRRM unit in partnership with the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS) and, the Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) and Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) will hold a Contingency Plan Enhancement in preparation for the in-person classes for the school year 2022-2023 on 5-6 August 2022. The venue is to be announced later. 2. This Contingency Plan Enhancement workshop aims to establish a basis for crafting the school’s contingency plan in case there are unforeseen circumstances as the face-to-face classes are implemented. 3. Participants are the Division Emergency Response Unit (DERU) Team. For reasons that the mentioned participant cannot come, an alternate should be sent to this training. ‘4, In compliance with DepEd No. 53, 8. 2003, titled: Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Credits to Teachers, all the teaching personnel participants shall be granted vacation service credits, likewise, non-teaching personnel, including management staff shall be provided with Compensatory Time-Off (CTO) per Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the Department Budget Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 2, 8. 2004 on Non-Monetary Remuneration for Overtime Service Rendered, 5. There is no Registration Fee, Meals, accommodation, workshop materials, and venue will be shouldered by DepEd Leyte Division under the DRRM fund/ SARO OSEC-8-22-4006. However, travel expenses and other incidental expenses of the participants and training staff relative to their attendance at this training shall be charged against their respective MOOE/ Local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing procedures. 6.
