OPENING PRAYER

The opening prayer was said by Josephine Achieng at 2.00 pm after being called upon
by Lucy Odipo who asked the members to do introduction.

MIN 1 01/10/2021 ELECTION OF GROUP OFFICIALS

The care taker (founder) during the meeting asked members to elect group officials to
spearhead the development agenda and more so give right leadership. The members
were asked to hold the election and the result was as follows:

1. Chairperson - Lucy Amolo Odipo

2. Vice Chairperason - Monica Achieng Ojar
3. Secretary - Algar Akinyi Owira
4. Assistant Secretary - Emily Awino Odero
5. Treasurer - Evaline Auma Amimo
6. Organising Secretary - Jackline Adhiambo juma
7. Assisitant Organising Secreatry - Josephine Achieng Yore

After the election of the officials the chairperson Mama Lucy Amolo Odipo advised the
members to be very active and united in carrying out the group activities in order to
achieve the desired goals.

MIN 2 01/10/2021 REGISTRATION OF THE GROUP

After election of the members, were told by the interim chairperson that it would be
prudent to register the group to be in line with the other registered groups in terms of
social development requirement. This would in turn enable the members to foster
development in the area and also network with other like minded development entities
such as Non Governmental Organizations. (NGO), well wishers,, and other
governmental department engaging in such livelihood improvement programme.

Thence, the elected officials were tasked to visit the social development office and
register the group acquire the Certificate.
MIN 3 1/01/2021 OPENING OF BANK ACCOUNT

Members, during the deliberations were reminded that it was important to open a group
Bank Account to keep their monies.

This was noted as being the best way to account for all the monies collected , got or
received from the members , well wishers and development partners, most of whom
prefer the groups who operate bank accounts and not mattress banking.

The members agreed to open bank account with the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) ,
Ukwala Branch . the Chairperson , Secretary and Treasurer were mandated to be bank
signatories. Thus;

The three were again, according to the members, authorized to withdraw any monies
from the group bank account and the three must sign or append their signatures.

Being there no any other business, the Chairperson adjourned the meeting and asked
Monica Achieng Ojah to give a closing prayer at 4: 00 pm.
