Psalm 56:3
Shane Angela D. Varias
The verse indicates that all of us are subject to fear at time, trusting God enough to guide us to
best pathway of our life. When we’re afraid it can literally consume us by the thought of the
worst thing happening. Only faith in God and trust in him give us the strength to endure and
obtain victory. In trust, you do not look for security in other things; you look to God to hold you
securely in difficult circumstances.
According to Monson (2022), If we will put our trust in the Lord, he will help us through our
difficulties, whatever they my be. Don't worry if you are already in the middle of a personal
storm, he gives us the peace and comfort that we need to keep to get rid of that fear and
accomplish the things we are called to do. Hill (2021) says that every difficulty you face, in
every waiting place, you're being given the chance to trust in the things unseen and to be
abundantly blessed. No matter what has happened to you in the past or what is going on in your
life right now, it has no power to keep you from having an amazingly good future if you will
walk by faith in God. You just go to and do your best.
Psalm 56:3 states that, When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. (𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯,
2011. Pslm. 56:3). Sometimes the answer to our biggest, most crippling problems is simple. We
need to ask the Lord, and trust Him to do what we can’t do ourselves. Keep looking to God and
keep moving forward despite how you feel. But when times are hard, when the world feels like
its caving in on us it’s even more important as followers to trust Him and make it our first resort,
not last. He tells us to not worry, to pray, and He will give us peace like you can't imagine.
