ITINERARY

DAY
01.
Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, will be the
first destination on the tour. Our driver will
pick you up at Noi Bai international airport
and drive you to the Aira Boutique Hanoi
hotel in the Ba Dinh district. After checking
in at the hotel, you can relax in the pool or
the spa, or go on a sightseeing walk to
enjoy the atmosphere in one of the most
dynamic cities in Vietnam.
DAY
02.
Day 1 - Destination

The charm of Hanoi will be reflected in each of


the attractions in the city tour, and the stories
behind them will also be revealed. During the
tour, you will visit some of the famous attractions
in the city, which are the Ho Chi Minh Complex,
the One Pillar Pagoda, the Lake of the Returned
Sword, and the ancient Temple of Literature. You
will go back to the hotel to enjoy lunch and rest
at about 11:00.

The tour will continue in the afternoon with the


History Museum, and Fine Art Museum. Lastly, the
Museum of Ethnology will provide a captivating
insight into 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam.

In the evening, you

DAY
03.
At 8:00, you will start to travel to Ba Vi by taxi. The
driver will take you to the height of 400m, then you
will start the trekking tour.

You will go trekking to the highest point of Ba Vi


mountain – mount Vua, at the height of 1,296 meters.
On the way, you can stop to visit numerous
attractions, such as the flower field, the pine forest,
the old French cathedral, Thuong temple. After
reaching mount Vua, you will visit a temple built to
worship Ho Chi Minh, as well as see some trees
planted since the mid-20 century with their names
and origin.

On the way down, you can visit the cactus garden, as


well as Ngoc Hoa cave.

DAY 04.
The day will start with a taxi trip to Mo waterfall,
Quang Yen, Quang Ninh. You will start with a walking
tour in the pine forest, which Ho Chi Minh president
visited in 1963, and listen to some stories about his trip
here.
After that, you will travel to Yen Lap lake, where you
can enjoy a tour of the river and go fishing on the
boat.
You will go camping at noon, or go to some
restaurant to enjoy local food, such as the famous
type of chicken at Mo waterfall. In the afternoon, you
will come back and visit the Quang Ninh museum,
where you can see the famous ancient sea creatures,
as well as the history of coal exploitation in Quang
Ninh, before returning to the hotel.
In the evening, you will visit the night market in Quang
Ninh and enjoy the nightlife of this city. 9
DAY 05.
The day will start with a taxi trip to Mo waterfall,

DAY
06.
You will check out from the hotel and travel to Tuan
Chau Island by taxi, then spend the rest of the
morning there. There are a lot of recreational
activities on the island, but the favorite ones are the
acrobatic performances of crocodiles, monkeys, sea
lions,…

After that, you will check in the Paradise Elegance


cruise in Tuan Chau harbor. In the afternoon, the
cruise will take you across some famous attractions
in Ha Long bay, such as Thien Cung cave, and Dau
Go cave,… You will visit the traditional pearl village
Tung Sau, where you can get some information
about the process of pearl-making, and Ti Top
Island. There you can climb up to the top of the
mountain to capture all the Ha Long bay in your
eyesight.

DAY 07.

You will start the day with some practice of


Chinese martial arts hosted by the cruise’s
staff. The final attraction you will visit in Ha
Long bay is Sung Sot cave. This is the most
beautiful and the largest cave at Ha Long bay;
you will be amazed by the magnificent
stalagmites and stalactites created over
millions of years.

The check-out from the cruise will be at 11:00,


then you will travel from Quang Ninh to Sapa
by Phuc Xuyen coach. It will take you about 7
hours to arrive in Sapa. You will check in at the
Bamboo Sapa hotel at 18:30, then rest in the
evening after a long journey on the coach.

DAY 08.
In the morning, you will travel to Fansipan cable car
station and buy tickets to start getting on the top of
Fansipan – the roof of Indochina. After getting off
the cable car, you will climb the mountain for the
rest of the journey. Then you will reach the mount of
Fansipan.

In the afternoon, the tour guide will take you to Cat


Cat village to learn about the daily life of H'mong
ethnic people, then visit Tien Sa waterfall.
After that, you will enjoy a traditional
musical performance at the old
hydroelectric power station.

In the evening, you will travel to the


traditional love market in Sapa.

DAY
09.
After breakfast, the tour guide will take you to the
Ham Rong Mountain tourism area, where you will see
the Indochina Orchid Garden, Heaven Gate, and
Cloud Garden, as well as enjoy ethnic music
performances. You can also interact with indigenous
people, take photographs, and purchase souvenirs.

After having lunch, you will check out from the hotel
and travel from Sapa to Ninh Binh by Sao Viet coach.
It will take you about 7 hours to arrive in Ninh Binh.
You will check in at the Hidden Charm resort at 18:30,
then rest in the evening after a long journey on the
coach.

DAY 10.
The first attraction on this day will be Hang Mua
viewpoint, located at the Hoa Lu old citadel in Ninh Binh.
Here you can climb up 486 stairs to the viewpoint and
capture the beauty of the paddy fields, lotus lakes, as
well as the mountain system in Ninh Binh.

After that, you will start exploring the structure of Hoa Lu


old citadel and learn some information about
Vietnam's ancient architecture. You can also pay a visit
to some temples which were built to worship Dinh Tien
Hoang and Le Dai Hanh – two emperors in Vietnam’s
history.
In the afternoon, you will visit Bai Dinh pagoda – one of
the most famous and biggest pagodas in Vietnam.
There are two main areas: the ancient Bai Dinh pagoda,
and the new pagoda. It will take you about 3 hours to
see all the Buddha statues, as well the tower. 9
DAY 11.

This day will start with a trip to Tam Coc – Bich


Dong, one of the most attractions in Viet Nam.
As the name stated (Tam Coc means “three
caves), here you will have a boat trip through
three caves, which are Ca cave, Hai cave, and
Ut cave. After the boat trip finishes, you can
visit the pagodas and caves on land; some of
the suggested ones are the Thai Vi temple to
worship Tran kings, or Thien Huong cave, Bich
Dong,… You will return to the hotel at 12:00 to
have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will travel to Thung Nham
– a biological tourist area, where you can
watch manifold flocks of birds, as well as visit
some caves
DAY
12.
You will travel from Ninh Binh to Nghe An by Nam
Quynh Anh coach in the morning, which will take
about 6 hours. Then you will check-in at Muong
Thanh Holiday Con Cuong hotel.
In the afternoon, you will travel to Khe Ran to
enjoy the community tourism here. You will have
a chance to learn the tradition of Thai people in
Vietnam, as well as their lifestyle, their stories,
and their journey of preparing and promoting
community tourism.
You will have dinner with traditional Thai meals in
the evening, as well as take part in some
traditional activities, such as dancing or enjoying
gongs.

DAY
13.
The main activity on this day will be a trip to Pu Mat
national park, which is located to the East of Truong
Son mountain range.

Throughout the day, you will participate in several


activities. The first one will be a boat trip in the Giang
river, in which you can enjoy the scenery along the
riversides. You can also learn to catch fish with local
people, as well as participate in a fish-grilling feast
with them.

You can also go into the forest to see the wildlife


here. The biodiversity in Pu Mat national park is great;
there are numerous precious animals and plants in
Vietnam here.
DAY 14.

In the morning, you will depart to Kim Lien historical site,


which is located in the hometown of Ho Chi Minh –
Vietnam’s national hero. You can see the house where
Uncle Ho lived during his childhood, as well as the
things and stuff he had used. Then you will move to
Hoang Tru village, the hometown of Uncle Ho’s mother,
before visiting a museum that presents the pieces of
stuff related to Uncle Ho’s stories through his lifetime.

In the afternoon, you will visit Dai Tue pagoda. It


currently holds the most records of all pagodas in
Vietnam, such as the pagoda with the most statues
from red topaz, or the pagoda with the biggest man-
made lake.

DAY
15.

In the morning, you will depart from Nghe


An and travel to Da Nang by Tien Tien
coach. It is expected that you will arrive in
Da Nang at about 18:00. You will check-in
at Samdi hotel in Da Nang.

For the evening, you can rest in the hotel,


enjoy the swimming pool or relax in the
spa after an 11-hour coach trip.

DAY 16.

In the morning, you will start with a trip to Son


Tra peninsula, where France attacked first in
1858 when they started to invade Vietnam. You
will visit Linh Ung pagoda here. Here put the
highest Avalokitesvara statue in Vietnam. After
that, you will travel to Ngu Hanh Son, where you
can visit Tang Chon cave, Hoa Nghiem
pagoda, and a traditional handicraft village,
which is famous for stone craving.

The day will finish with a visit to Hoi An old


quarter. Here you can see the ancient houses
in Vietnam, Cau pagoda,… as well as enjoy the
beauty of the lanterns.
DAY 17.
The journey in Da Nang will continue with a
visit to Ba Na tourist area. You can start by a
trip on the cable car to the Ba Na cable car
station. There are a lot of places to visit and
activities to participate in here, such as the
largest statue of Siddhārtha Gautama
(Buddha) in South East Asia with a height of
33 meters. You can also pay a visit to Bar
Debay – wine storage which keeps some
hundred-of-year-old bottles of wine.

In the afternoon, you will travel to My Khe


beach, which is one of the most beautiful
beaches in Vietnam, to take photos and enjoy
the beach.

DAY
18.
You will depart from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City on
a flight in the morning. After your arrival in Ho Chi
Minh City, you will check in the Liberty Central Saigon
Citypoint at about 11:00.

In the afternoon, you will start to explore Ho Chi Minh


city by visiting two museums: the War Remnants
Museum, where you can see the pieces of stuff from
the Vietnam War (1954-1975), and the Fine Arts
Museum, which will present you the works of famous
Vietnamese artists, as well as their stories.
In the evening, you will join a tour around Ho Chi Minh
City on the Sai Gon river.

DAY 19.

In the morning, you will visit the Independence


Palace. This is the place where Ngo Dinh Diem
– South Vietnam’s president has worked and
lived with his family. You can imagine the life of
Vietnamese rich people inside the palace.
The next attraction will be Saigon Notre-Dame
Cathedral, which is located at the center of the
city. It is a magnificent building, attracting not
only Vietnamese but also foreign tourists, and
a wonderful place for people to relax from
stress and seek calmness in a religious
building.
In the afternoon, you will go for a trip to the Sac
forest tourist area to enjoy the wildlife of
numerous animals and plants, such as bats,
birds, monkeys,…

DAY 20.
On this day, the only attraction will be the Cu Chi
tunnels. It will take you about 1 hour and 30 minutes to
travel from the hotel to the attraction.

Cu Chi tunnels is a system of tunnels in Ho Chi Minh


City that Vietnamese soldiers dug during the Vietnam
War to maximize their geographic advantages to
fight against stronger American soldiers. Here you
can see pictures and images about the life of soldiers
and people under the tunnels, as well as explore the
tunnels yourself to see pieces of stuff of Vietnamese
people and soldiers at that time. You can also listen
to the stories about the fights inside the tunnels.

DAY
21.
You will leave Ho Chi Minh city in the
morning and fly to Phnom Penh, but you
will have to transit in Thailand. It will take
you about 6 hours in Thailand, and you will
arrive in Phnom Penh at 19:45.

You will move from Phnom Penh


International Airport to the Baitong Hotel &
Resort in Phnom Penh, and spend the rest
of the day in the hotel, relaxing after the
flight and the long wait in Thailand.

DAY 22
Today you will go for a tour around Phnom Penh and visit
some of the famous attractions in this city. The tour will start
at Wat Phnom pagoda, where the body of King Boliwat and
the remains of King Ponhea is kept. Then you will move to the
Royal Palace, where the famous Silver Pagoda and Golden
Pagoda are located – they got their names because their
flooring tiles are made of silver and gold respectively. The
next attraction will be the Tout Sleng Genocide Museum,
which keeps the pieces of evidence images
images of the inhumanity of Khmer Rogue,
as well as the crimes they have done to the
Cambodians.
Finally, the tour will end with a visit to the
Independence Monument.

DAY
23.
You will continue to explore Phnom Penh.
Starting with a visit to the National
Cambodian Museum, where there are
more than 500,000 pieces of stuff which
can help you learn about the stories of
ancient Cambodians since the Angkor
era and even further back, you will then
visit Wat Ounalom, the most important
Buddhism pagoda all over the country.

The final attraction of the day will be the


Dead Field, which used to be the field
when Khmer Rogue exterminate Khmer
people.

DAY 24.

You will leave Phnom Penh and travel to


Kampot by a coach from Pacific Express,
which will take about 3 hours to bring you to
the destination. You are expected to arrive
in Kampot at 11:30, then you will check in at
the Boutique Kampot Hotel.

You will spend your afternoon on Coconut


beach. You can take photos, swim or just
walk on the white sand.

DAY
25.
In the morning, you will travel to the Preah
Monivong Bokor national park and start a
trekking tour on mount Bokor. This was a
base of French invaders in 1921, but they
left eventually. There is also a Catholic
cathedral on the Preah Monivong Bokor,
which was built since 1928. You can also
see a statue of Lok Yeay Mao – a heroine
in Cambodian Buddhism, and listen to her
story.
In the afternoon, you will travel to Teuk
stream for a sightseeing tour around and
kayaking.

DAY 26.

On this day, you will leave Kampot and come back


to Phnom Penh by Kim Seng Express coach. You will
reach Phnom Penh at 11:30 pm. Then you will fly from
Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, which will take about 1
hour. You will arrive in Siem Reap at 14:25.

After checking in at the Tara Angkor Hotel, you will


travel to the Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre. This is
the biggest butterfly conservation center in South
East
Asia, which serves as a source of
butterflies for presentations and
exhibitions of many centers and
organizations all over the world.

DAY
27.
You will start exploring Siem Reap by
paying a visit to Angkor Wat – one of the
most famous attractions not only in
Cambodia but also all over the world. It is
so famous that it has been put on the list
of Seven Wonders. In Angkor Wat, you will
not only see the Angkor Wat temple but
also other temples and sites, such as
Angkor Thom, Little Circuit, Big Circuit, Kbal
Spean ruins,…
In the afternoon, you will travel to the
Cambodian Culture Village, in which there
are about 30 statues of famous
Cambodian civilians, as well as 30
samples of Cambodian architects and
traditional villages. 4
DAY 28.
Free day!

You can keep


exploring the city,
join a course of
pottery making in
Siem Reap or take a
trip to Tonle Sap.

DAY 29.

Today you will travel from Siem Reap to Luang


Prabang by airplane. However, like the previous
time, you will also have to transit in Thailand. You
will depart from Siem Reap at 9:05, then spend
about 4 hours, before arriving in Luang Prabang
at about 17:00.

After that, you will check in at the Sanakeo


Boutique Hotel and Spa, and rest in the hotel after
a long flight.

DAY 30.
The exploration of Luang Prabang will start with a
visit to the Royal Palace Museum. This will be
perfect for those who are eager to learn about the
history of Laos; there are numerous pieces of stuff
from the previous dynasties of Laos presented
here, as well as gifts from foreign tourists.
Then you will start a journey to see most of the
pagodas in Luang Prabang, starting from Wat
Wisunarat – one of the oldest pagodas in Luang
Prabang, then Wat Xieng Thong, those walls are
carved into pictures to tell the story of Buddha’s life,
then Wat Mai and the tour finishes with a visit to
Wat Aham.
After finishing the tour, you will start climbing
Phousi Hill to watch the sunset in Luang Prabang.

DAY 31.
Since today, you will start to learn more about local
people’s traditions, lifestyles, and habits. In the
morning, you will take part in cooking lessons in
Tamarind restaurant, where you will learn to cook
some traditional Laos food. You will be instructed on
everything, from buying the right ingredients to
cooking and presenting.

In the afternoon, you will visit Heuan Chanh Heritage


House – the traditional Laos wooden house which
appeared in the 19th century. Here you can
see a lot of traditions and ancient pieces of
stuff, such as the Baci ceremony, the way
Laos women carry their babies when they
work,..

DAY
32.
In the morning, you will travel to Elephant Sanctuaries
and Center, which preserves elephants alive and
healthy by giving medical treatment and provides a
method for mahouts to earn money for their families.
Here you can learn about the life of a mahout, how to
become one or bathe with the elephants. You can also
prepare elephants’ food, feed them and witness the
relationship between a mahout and his elephants.
In the afternoon, you will visit Ock Tok Pok to experience
Laos through textiles. This social enterprise offers classes
in silk weaving, natural dyes, batik drawing, and bamboo
weaving from half-day to 3 days.
In the evening, you will enjoy the Garavek Story Telling
Experience, which is the tales told along with khene - a
handmade bamboo mouth organ.

DAY 33.
Free day!

You will have time to keep learning about local people’s daily life or explore more attractions in
Luang Prabang.

DAY 34.
You will leave Luang Prabang and fly to
Vientiane today. It is expected that you will
land in Vientiane at 14:45 pm. After finishing
checking in the Lao Poet Hotel, you will visit
the COPE Tourism Center, which serves as a
center to help the victims of bombards in Lao
during wartime – many of who still suffer from
injuries today.

DAY
35.
Today will be the day for a tour around Vientiane.
The first attraction will be Wat Si Muong – the
most sacred pagoda in the capital. Here you will
join a ritual to pray for luck and safety,
performed by the monks at the pagoda. The next
will be Patuxay, which is also called “Arc de
Triomphe of the capital”. The next destination will
be That Luong, then you will travel to Chintana to
see and buy the silver handicrafts.
The final destination on the day will be the
ancient Sisaket pagoda, which is the only
pagoda in Laos that survived the destruction by
ancient Thailand in 1828.

DAY 36.
Free day!

You can keep


exploring the city,
join a course of
pottery making in
Siem Reap or take a
trip to Tonle Sap.

DAY 37.

On this day you will fly from Laos to


Myanmar, and you will have to transit in
Thailand one more time. You will leave Laos
at 7:05 and arrive in Thailand 1 hour later.
After 4 hours and 10 minutes in Thailand,
you will leave at 12:15 and arrive in Myanmar
at 13:40.

After checking in the Ritz Grand Hotel


Mandalay, you will visit the Mahar Aung
Myay market, where you can see and buy
numerous types of gemstones.

DAY 38.

The tour around Mandalay will start with a visit to Mahamuni Buddha
Temple, one of the most famous pagodas in Myanmar. It is believed
that Buddha had been here about 2000 years ago. The next one will
be the Mandalay Palace, which was built in 1959. This is the palace
the two last kings in Myanmar’s history have lived.

The next one will be Swenandaw Monastery, the biggest wooden


monastery in the area. King Mindon visited this place frequently and
he has died here in 1879. The day will end with a visit to Kuthodaw.

DAY 39.
You will climb Mandalay Hill in the morning.
Along the way up to the mount, you will see a
lot of stalls of local people selling their artwork.
You can also visit a lot of pagodas on the way,
such as Su Taung Pyi Hoa pagoda, where you
can see a lot of wall pictures of Buddha
fighting against monsters.
The next attraction will be Dee Doke Waterfall,
which is famous for its blue transparent water.
It results from a high volume of sodium in the
water, which keeps the water warm even in
the water.
The last attraction will be Amarapura – the old
citadel of Myanmar. You can watch the sunset
from the U Bein bridge – the longest ancient
bridge in the world.

DAY 40.

You will fly from Mandalay to Yangon. After checking in at the Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon,
you will spend the rest of the day in the hotel. You can swim, or enjoy the spa.

DAY 41.

The last day of the tour will start with a visit to


Swedagon Pagoda, which is believed to have been
built more than 2500 years ago. This pagoda keeps a
lot of invaluable pieces of stuff, such as the hair of
Buddha. The next one will be Chinatown, which can be
considered a mini China inside Myanmar, helping you
to learn about Chinese culture.

can see the first Catholic cathedral
