Removal and Installation Procedure revision date: 11/15/2018

Front Brake Flexible Hose

Removal

NOTICE: If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with
cold water.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. NOTICE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.

Seal all the openings with clean blanking caps.

2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the brake hose. Discard the washers.
Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

3. Remove the front brake flexible hose.

1. Remove the bolt and detach the front brake hose assembly.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
2. Remove the nut and detach the front brake hose assembly.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
3. Disconnect the brake tube fitting and remove the front brake hose assembly.
Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Bleed the brake system.
