Interior Trim Remover

Removal

NOTICE: If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with
cold water.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the wheel and tire.

Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

2. Release the clips and remove the parking brake lever access cover.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

3. Loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut.

4. Remove the brake caliper flow bolt and disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper. Discard the
washers.
Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

1. Pull the parking brake lever upward.
2. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the lever.

3. Detach the parking brake cable from the bracket and position aside the parking brake cable.

6. NOTICE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.

Seal all the openings with clean blanking caps.

7. Remove the bolts and the brake caliper.

Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Bleed the brake system.

Refer to: Brake System Pressure Bleeding (206-00 Brake System - General Information, General
Procedures).

3. Adjust the park brake system.

Refer to: Parking Brake Cable Adjustment (206-05 Parking Brake and Actuation, General Procedures).
