Detailed Purpose of the Project

Please describe the intended purpose of the project, in correlation with your communication with
stakeholders. This purpose statement should constitute a paragraph of at least three sentences

Detailed Purpose of the Project
The purpose of this project is to design the program
and/or strategies that will be used for the newly created
Educational Technology Coach’s position at Grove
Christian School. Since this is a new position, the faculty
at Grove will not be used to getting assistance from the
Ed. Tech. Coach. The thinking is to give the faculty
ideas, information, and instruction at the Teacher In-
Service prior to the start of school.

Detailed Overarching Goals Goal 1: Create a job description for the Educational
Technology Coach position.

Goal 2: Develop a timing strategy for the coaching.

Goal 3: Create a PowerPoint presentation for the school

leadership.

Goal 4: Create Renweb orientation video for taking

attendance.

Goal 5: Create a catalog/listing of available

technologies.

Goal 6: Create first three videos for “Tech Tip Tuesday.”

Milestone Item: Research job descriptions of classroom teachers at Date: Wed., 8/20/2022
Grove and of other Educational Technology Coaches in Virginia.

Milestone Item: Have a “dummy class” created on Renweb to use Date: Tues., 7/26/2022
in video tutorial on taking attendance.

Milestone Item: Meet with Grove’s Director of Curriculum and Date: Mon., 8/8/2022
Instruction to determine Ed. Tech Coach’s daily schedule, so as to
inform the design of the timing strategy.

Milestone Item: Create outline of material to be presented in the Date: Tues., 8/9/2022
