Position: Resident Engineer

Roles and responsibilities

 Person in charge of supervision of the following site works:

 Soil investigation & Trial trench works.

 Installation of Instruments and periodic monitoring works
 Various types of Temporary Shaft construction work.
 Pipe Jacking/Micro tunneling work (up to 400mm diameter)
 Permanent manhole construction

 Participate in the monthly progress meeting and write the meeting notes
 Submit the daily, weekly & monthly progress report to the client.
 Evaluate the contractor’s monthly interim payment claim and prepare the draft payment certificate.
 Review the following submissions:
 The Permit to work
 Method of statements related to the project
 Material approval-related Submissions
 All the shop drawings
 Test reports
 Feasibility of the technical proposals
 All QC-related submissions.
 Liaise with the stakeholders regarding the Advance sewer connections.
 Liaise with the Government agencies for the utility’s diversion/protection.
