POSITION DESCRIPTION

I. ORGANIZATION

POSITION EH&S Management System Specialist REPORTS TO: Site EHS Manager –
TITLE: (Supervisory Role) NGHP HIDC

Hydrogen Project

II. POSITION SUMMARY

This is a Contract position, based at the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project Site location, a rotational assignment.
The incumbent is responsible for establishing databases that provide an opportunity to track all EH&S incident data
for the HIDC Element and other elements as required. Although primarily an office-based role, the incumbent will
spend time on Site to undertake inspections and audits.
The candidate is expected to have good knowledge of EHS throughout all phases of construction and
commissioning.

III, NATURE AND SCOPE


• Description: NEOM Green Hydrogen Project consists of 3 elements: Power, GH2, and HIDC.

• Project Location: Saudi Arabia, northwest near Tabouk city

IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following:

 Develop and maintain a data base to track ALL Incident data


 Undertake trending on a weekly / monthly / quarterly and annual basis and share information with Site
EH&S Manager
 Prepare draft weekly / monthly / quarterly and annual reports
 Track manhours and manpower for ALL contractors and AP personnel
 Support the identification of PPEs and HSE instruments and devices for the Site
 Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns
 Administer the APT action tracking system
 Support the EHS Training in establishing, maintaining and monitoring of the training register database(s)
 Act as a coordinator for the Heat Stress program between Air Products and Contractor organisations
 Report to site EH&S manager of any potential safety issue and unsafe conditions
 Support the completion and issue of incident reports
 Participate in RCA’s for any incidents
 Coordinate weekly Site walkdowns with all Contractors and compile a report to be shared
 Administer and track all actions from weekly management walkthroughs
 Submit on time all necessary audit and reports to the Air Products site managing team
 Keep an organized filing system in the field office
 Coordinate and attend a weekly on-site construction meeting with the assigned Contractors and their
subcontractors as required
 Support emergency response drill schedules and maintain the action tracking sheet for the lessons learned
from the drills
 Field safety status photographs are to be taken throughout the process of construction
 Coordinate between the Training department and Security department to issue and control AP Badge ID
systems

V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a mandatory requirement


 A recognized environmental qualification
 Fluent spoken and written English
 Safety certificates in OSHA and IOSH for short safety or environmental courses
 College degree graduate
 ~10 years’ experience on international mega-Projects working in EH&S Administrator or EHS Management
System Specialist role
 Good knowledge of databases including Event Management and possessing above average competency in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
 Familiar with all aspects of Construction Safety and possessing specialist knowledge in one or two areas of
Construction Safety (i.e, Excavations, Scaffolding, Lifting, etc)
 Possess sound knowledge on the incident classification (OSHA & Air Products), analysis and generating
reports
 Being a good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
 Willingness to travel and be based in remote location

Advantages:

 Knowledge and experience of EPC management
 Possess an International driving licence
