Bruno: Ok, Shall I start?

Gladys: Yes, go ahead.
Bruno: Ok. For me, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces which are regularly touched is a
good thing to do, since this will prevent people from being infected. What do you
think?
Gladys: Yes, that’s true, but another simple, but important measure is to wash our
hands all the time. If we wash our hands and avoid touching our face we can reduce
the spread of covid considerably. We have to encourage people to do these things.
Bruno: I fully agree, what you say is really important. Also, people should be
encouraged to wear a mask. I heard on the news that wearing a mask decreases the
percentage in the risk of covid contagion.
Gladys: I’m not so keen on that. I’ve heard that the use of a mask alone is
insufficient to provide the adequate level of protection and apart from that children
younger than 2 years old and people who have trouble breathing shouldn’t wear it.
So, for me maintaining social distancing might be a better choice.
Bruno: Well, yes. Social distancing is another important measure, but people don’t
follow the quarantine orders and I don’t think everyone practises social distancing
these days. What is worse, in some countries people are going to the beach or making
parties.
Gladys: So, what about avoiding gathering and community events?
Bruno: for me, that’s key to avoid the spread of covid, however people are going to
the beach or making parties as I said before. They don’t seem to be aware of the
consequences and that’s quite sad.
