Performance appraisal is also in our firm, there is two times reviews within a year I.e., once in July and
again in December.

Semi-annually reviews, to measure one’s performance as per the parameters provided for example,
there are sales targets for sales department; Manufacturing departments has quantity of unit/s
production targets. And overall, other’s departments of the firms have other different targets to be
achieved. The targets include factors like timing, behavior. As per achievements of the targets are
observed and allotted the performance appraisals.

SWOT Analysis:

Strengths: Esay to enter in the market. There is not much conjunction. There is only 10-15
manufacturing units who are manufacturing cargo loaders. Easy to enter. There is scope in the market.
Even if someone started a new firm than its units are easy to be sold out, because it has capacity to
absorb in the market.

Opportunities:

It’s a growing firm/industry.

Threats:

It can create monopoly because of high demand and low rate of competitors; which become an issue for
consumer. And there is also chances of monopoly by issuing an/multiple petitions.

Another threat can be the low profitability in this business and this factor effects the survival and growth
of the business.

Econimic factors like; fluctuation in the dollar rates. Due to which costing of the import is increased very
much; which results in impossibilities for its manufacturing and selling. Profitability threats due to which
there are chances of collapsing of this industry.

Explain HRP process and forecasting and requirements. These are just generic explanation which can be
well explained in CB-HR program in case of Pakistan. (800-1000 words)

Training:

Due to covid restriction: online/virtual training session were conducted

Training for introducing new software SAP.

Previously using SAGE, but when new software SAP was introduced. The training was conducted as per
their relevant

Being HR, HR module was trained.

Training TIME WINDOW: thrice a week, for example, training is conducted on first day and its’s practice
was done on the proceeding. The training continued for 2 weeks took total six sessions

HR Function critical Analysis:

A candidate that is selected for a job, it’s a most suitable to method of recruitment. Secondly, ads are
broadcasted on INDEED and shortlisting n interviews and selection of candidates. For which we also
make a profile according to the specification and Add post. Broadcasted the add Post. Shortlisted them
internally and select 10% of the shortlisted candidate’s cvs and conduct an interview call session to this
10% along with a written test on the scheduled date. to check how much the candidate has information
related to the theoretical and practical work knowledge, test was conducted. After shortlisting,
candidate was called again to come and give a technical interview; if the candidate applied in HR dept
then account department will conduct his interview. If manger account passed him/her than the
candidate has a formal meeting with the Director will be planned with the comment from HR that the
from my side he/she were doing good please kindly approve him/her. After this small interview meeting
director also go through It and afterwards selected. In this way the selection was carried out afterwards.
Main interview is conducted by departmental head; before which he/she has to pass written test and
computer test. This is our selection criteria.

Planning is done by mutual collaboration from all the departments in way that we can plan for it. For
example, our production is less during winters while the production is at boom during summers. So, the
HR is well aware of the requirements that we may need more labor or staff during boom production
period. So, therefore they plan it beforehand like in February that in April and May we need more staff
and labor respectively. As per their forecasting, sale volume, request of different departments (the
request that had been already in knowledge of HR) the HR department started their planning in advance
that when and how we will have our move.
