Tommy Doyles
In the far corners of that craggy rock some call Ireland, a man named Tommy Doyle magically appeared one day. To this day, some may claim that this Irishman doesnt existbut he most certainly does! Contrary to popular myth, Tommy Doyle was not born of a Saint Patrick miracle on the day the Saint rid the Emerald Isle of snakes. Nor is he the long-lost son of Bertie Ahern, a Prime Minister of yore. And no, Tommy Doyle is not a former Boston Red Sock (the Irish only use their feet to play sports). Born in 1956, Tommy Doyle is one of the most famous Gaelic Footballers of all-time. He won 7 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Medals with Kerry one of the most successful Irish football teams ever. In 1984, 85 & 86, he was the recipient of the Gaelic Athletic Associations (GAA) All-Star Award. He now enjoys his time with family & friends in Cork. As any true hero would do, Tommy was sure to believe in what we do here at Tommy Doyles before giving us the pleasure of using his name. Since 2003, our establishment has strived to provide great service, a fun atmosphere, & quality pub fare. We hope you enjoy your time with uswe know Tommy Doyle would have it no other way!
