intimidated but let me share with you a secret. But if you devote enough time studying
it, Math can be fun. And you know how Math can be fun? By learning all what I teach
you will all be Math Superheroes.

Super Kid Science Project

One day Ricky’s teacher assigned them to make an album with collage pictures
of different plants. He excitedly went home and told his mama and papa about
the school project. To make his project really cool, Ricky plans to make three
sets of collage. His idea is to group 18 pictures of different beautiful trees by 3’s.
Ricky’s mama will assemble 72 different pictures of roses by 6’s and his papa
will gather all 45 drawings of ornamental plants of his son by 9. They are all
happy and excited to work on the project as a family. Is it possible for the
pictures to be exactly grouped by 3,6 and 9 without some photos be left behind?
Let’s find out and help Ricky count!!

1. In making a photo collage, what operation do we use to split equally the pictures
into groups?
2. In our story, what are the 3 numbers we used in dividing the picture?
3. What do you think is our lesson for today?
(Video clip)
Is 12 divisible by 3?
How about 72?
Let’s try 366.
(The teacher will discuss the lesson through powerpoint presentation.
