Conclusions

Intellectual property is something very valuable to protect the integrity and authorship of any

work, invention, patent; That is why it is very important to register any type of work before the

DNDA in Colombia in this case.

In addition, the DNDA is urgently required to improve its service channels and response times to

people's requests.

This work seeks to positively influence the increase in patent applications in Colombia, since it
shows in a friendly way a legal process that was unattainable for natural persons, being used by
large industries and experts in the field and that is now presented to be consulted. by
stakeholders in the process without any difference.
This work evidenced in a simple and condensed way the subject of patents and their
development in Colombia, taking as a reference the order to register a patent and extrapolating
through different tools those necessary to national laws. Not finding similar studies applying to
Colombia, this work emerges as a basis for the development of good practices that can be taken
into account.
