1.1 What is Scrum

Scrum is a framework for solving complex projects with more productivity for
produce a quality product So Scrum has a function:
1. Researching and exploring market potential, technology, and product capability
2. Developing the product and its improvements
3. Release the product and its enhancements, frequently possible
4. Develop and maintain a system based on Cloud used by a product
5. Manage and update a product

SCRUM
● Scrum is generally used to developing Information Systems, software, but
scrum can too applied to development products other than software.

● Why is Scrum widely used in software development?


1. Software has the following characteristics: complex
2. Addition of manpower is not always possible increase speed in completion
software projects.
3. Bugs in the software can not always be seen directly.
4. Lots of software and technology projects Information that failed, even level failure
to 50% (42% - Standish Group, 53% - General Accounting Office)

HISTORY OF SCRUM
February 2001, Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber were amongst the 17 software
development leaders creating the Manifesto for Agile Software Development.

WHY SCRUM?
Changes are very fast in today's era, both from the side of the market, customers and
competitors. So we need a framework supporting to be able to follow these changes
quickly. One of the project management frameworks that supporting the change is
Scrum. Scrum itself is a framework Agile-based development (Agile development)

1.2 Roles in Scrum (Roles)

1. Product Owner
The person in charge of product features. Product Owner represents
user/management or stakeholders involved in the development of the product.

2. Scrum Master
The person in charge of the entire process in the project. Task the main thing is for
scrum to be done well by the development team and the owner's product is in
accordance with the rules scrum. Scrum master is also a guest source if there are
obstacles in the development of the project which related to process.

3. Development Team
A team of several people for develop the product. Amount ideal team is 3 to 9 people.

1.3 SIKLUS SCRUM

Artifact
Scrum has an Artifact, which is a means which can be seen directly by Scrum Team
and stakeholders about the progress of projects. Artifacts as evidence of Scrum's
unique nature transparent, meaning the Scrum team and Stakeholders can see the
progress of the project built with Scrum transparently through Artifacts.
