Results:
Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) analysis. The magnetic
behaviour of the sample was investigated using M-H curve from VSM analysis.
Fig. shows the hysteresis loop of Fe3O4/TiO2 nanocomposite. For Fe3O4/TiO2
nanocomposite saturation magnetization (Ms), remanant magnetization (Mr),
coercivity (Hc) was estimated to be 16.80 emu/g, 3.723 emu/g, 181.35 Oe,
respectively. The narrow magnetic hysteresis loop with extremely small
coercivity and remanence values indicates a near superparamagnetic behavior
of Fe3O4/TiO2 nanocomposite. Taking into account the sample contains 20%
of Fe3O4 nanoparticle. The Ms is much lower than that of the corresponding
bulk Fe3O4 (92 emu/g), which may be due to the small size of the Fe3O4
nanoparticles. The lower values are attributed by the presence of non-
magnetic TiO2.
Summary. In summary, the crystalline Fe3O4/TiO2 nanocomposites were
synthesized by non-thermal method. Each were individually prepared by
hydrothermal and sol-gel methods. The X-ray diffraction confirms the pure
phase of Fe3O4/TiO2 nanocomposites. The FTIR spectrum reveals the formation
of metal oxygen bonds without interactions. The absorption band at 584 cm-1
is assigned to Fe-O stretching band and the strong band at 620 cm-1 was
assigned to be Ti-O stretching bands. SEM indicates the formation of
agglomerated uniform nanospheres. EDAX confirms the stiochiometric
proportion of elements.

The magnetic behavior of the sample was analysed by VSM. The Fe3O4/TiO2
nanocomposite exhibits ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature. The as
prepared sample has excellent magnetic property it can be used for
photocatalytic application using magnetic separation method in various
environmental and medical fields.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Magnetic characterization of Nanocomposite: vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) will help

to understand the magnetic properties of the prepared samples. The hysteresis loop traced
at room temperature for the magnetite nanoparticles and nanomagnetic composite are
shown in figures 3, 4, where the magnetization hysteresis loops appeared S-like.
From figure 3, it explains the soft magnetic nature of formed magnetite, it is observed that
the magnetization is completely saturated at value of 30 emu/g for pure magnetite, while in
case of nanomagnetic composite, the magnetization is not completely saturated . Table 1
summarizes the values of Coercivity (Hci), Magnetization (Ms) and Retentivity (Mr) for pure
nanomagnetite and nanomagnetic composite materials, which obtained from VSM. The sharp
decrease in Ms value for the nanomagnetic composite maybe due to the incorporation of the
nanomagnetite within the framework of zeolite structure, walls of zeolite act as a shield for
magnetic power of nano Fe3O4. Another explanation of low saturation magnetization is may
be due to well dispersion of nanoparticles in zeolite matrices, which lead to mot easy
formation of magnetic domain
CONCLUSION: Nanocomposite of zeolite and nanomagnetite has been prepared by a
simple chemical route, the prepared nanomagnetite has a uniform particle size of 4- 6 nm,
the X-ray diffractometer proved that the formed magnetite is a cubic Fe3O4. It showed also
the possible incorporation of formed magnetite within the frame work of zeolite, VSM study
showed a sharp decrease in magnetic power that has been observed upon the loading of
magnetic nanoparticles on zeolite.

Results:
Magnetic properties of the NPs were analyzed by use of the vibrating sample magnetometry at room
temperature. Fig. 4 shows the hysteresis loops of the samples. The saturation magnetization was
found to be 57.93 emu/g for Fe3O4-PEG MNPs prepared using low concentration of FeCl3·6H2O,
which was lower than the Fe3O4-PEG MNPs prepared by using high concentration of FeCl3·6H2O
that was 59.66 emu/g.
This difference suggested that large amount of polymer (PEG) encapsulated more of MNPs prepared
by low concentration than those prepared with high concentration. In addition; there was no
hysteresis in the magnetization, with both remanence and coercively being zero, suggesting that
these magnetic NPs were superparamagnetic [18]. When the external magnetic field was removed,
the MNPs could be well dispersed by gentle shaking. These magnetic properties are potential for
applications in both biomedical and bioengineering fields.
