Matayog na Niyog

Ako si Matayog na Niyog. Ako’y isang puno’t halaman. Marami kayong mapapakinabangan sa akin. Pwede niyong makain ang aking bunga at
gawin itong dessert o buko juice. Pwede rin kayong makagawa ng bunot, pangdekorasyon, at magagamit niyo rin ang aking langis sa maraming bagay.
Marami akong mga kasamahan. Nandiyan sina palay, tubo, saging, mais, kape at marami pang iba. Hindi niyo ba alam na malaki ang ginagampanan
naming mga halaman sa ating ekonomiya?... Kami’y inyong kinakain sa pang-araw-araw at pinagkakakitaan din. Minsan pa nga kami’y inyong iniluluwas
sa ibang bansa. Ganyan kami kahalaga. Marami kaming naitutulong sa ekonomiya. Pinupunan namin ang demand at supply ng pagkain hindi lamang sa
pamayanan kundi maging sa inyong pamilya. Kung walang perang pambili ng makakain, nandiyan ang mga prutas at gulay sa paligid, masustansiya na
libre pa. O diba!... Kaya’t sana kami’y inyong alagaan upang kami’y dumami at maging malusog nang sa ganun ay maging masarap ang inyong pagkain at
kayo’y maging malusog din. Magtanim ng mga puno’t halaman para sa magandang kinabukasan ng ating ekonomiya.

TENNIS - Momentum in tennis occurs when the rocket collides with the ball forcing the ball upward.

BASEBALL – Momentum in baseball occurs when the pitchers throws the ball forcing it through the air. More momentum occurs when the batter hits the
ball
. In baseball, a ball that is only struck with a small part of the bat is not in contact with the bat for a long period of time so the change in momentum, or
impulse, is small and the ball does not travel very far. However, if the bat strikes the ball squarely, the force is exerted for a longer time resulting in a
greater change in momentum, or greater impulse, and the ball travels very far.
A golf ball sits on a tee motionless before the golfer swings the club and strikes the ball. If the ball is struck in the center of the club with a good follow-
through, then force is exerted for a longer time resulting in a greater change in momentum, greater impulse, and the ball will travel farther. If the ball is
not struck in the center or the club, then the amount of force is only enacted on the ball for a short time resulting in a smaller change in momentum and
the ball doesn't go as far.

Billiards –
If a billiards ball is rolling around on the table, it has momentum. When the balls strike each other or the table walls, their velocity will
change. A change in velocity can be from a change in speed, a change in direction, or both. If the ball’s velocity changes, so does its
momentum. The word for this change in momentum over time is impulse.
