Story 9

Paul has no money and he lives on the street. He has a long beard and smelly
clothes. He mainly eats from the trash. Thankfully, he finds a variety of food in the
trash. He wishes he had a microwave to make his food warmer! When he feels
sleepy, he finds comfort sleeping on the roadside. Some days, he has the luck of the
devil and someone throws him a coin. He is always outdoors even on cold nights and
he feels he will freeze to death. Nobody takes care of him in his illness. He feels so
helpless. One night, he was in the street as usual eating by the candle light, and a
stranger was passing by; he sat beside him to take a rest. This man is a traveler. He
said there is a treasure and he wants to find it. Paul said that he loves adventure,
.but he didn’t; he just thought that if he goes with him, he will get some food for free
