My name is Gustavo Gómez Martínez and, we will start talking
about this great and important astronomer who marked history. We
will start by reading the questions and answering them at the same
time.
1. What was his name? The name of this very important person and
astronomer was Nicolaus Copernicus.

2. Where was he born? He was born in Torun, Poland on February


19, 1473.

Let's move on to the next question which is

3. How did he start her profesional develoment? In the year one


thousand four hundred and ninety-one, Nicholas began his career
at the University of Krakow, where he studied for five years. In
nineteen ninety-six he traveled to Italy, where he studied canon
law and the influence of the Italian classics was decisive for the
development of his astronomical work. After more than twenty
years of tireless work, Copernicus developed his heliocentric
model of the universe.

4. Where did he study university? This great astronomer, at the


age of eighteen, entered the University of Krakow, where he
studied humanities.

5. Did he have children? Nicolaus Copernicus never had a son, he


devoted his whole life to studying stellar space
6. What was the min contribución to manid (invención,
Discovery)? These are some contributions of this great
astronomer:
1- Change of the theory of gravity
2- Definition of the Gregorian calendar
3- Theory of the three movements
4- And the most important heliocentric model of the universe, the
most recognized and revolutionary contribution of Nicolaus Copernicus
is, without a doubt, the theory of heliocentric.
7. Did he receive any awards?
Received several awards such as:
1. His name is listed in the Lutheran Calendar of Saints.
2. The lunar crater Copernicus was named in his honor.
3. The asteroid (1322) Coppernicus is also named after him.
4- In memory of Nicolaus Copernicus, on February nineteenth, two
thousand and ten, the IUPAC named the one hundred and twelve
element of the periodic table.

9. How was the process in her deathbed?


He died on the twenty-fourth of May, one thousand five hundred and
forty-three in Frauenburg, Royal Prussia, belonging to the Kingdom of
