Description:

In the order of the oil and gas industry processes above from the exploration team to the
consumer/customer, it can be seen from the first process, namely the exploration process carried out to
find sources of oil or crude oil.

Then after the exploration and production team found the oil source, the drilling process or oil well
construction would then be carried out.

The next step is the crude oil obtained from drilling at the oil source will be distributed to the storage,
processing and distribution or in other words the terminal.

Furthermore, crude oil originating from the terminal will be distributed to oil refinery, so that the
distribution process is carried out using tankers if using sea routes, but it is not uncommon for oil refinery
to be built close to exploration and production units so that in the form of distribution, pipelines can be
used. So the exploration and production process is not only carried out on land but sometimes also at sea
so that for the process of distributing crude oil, pipeline, land cars and tankers are needed for sea routes.

After the crude oil has been distributed by tankers to the oil refinery unit, it will be processed into fuel
products such as gas, naphtha. Naphta, is the basic material for petrochemicals and plastics, gasoline
products as vehicle fuel, kerosene as aircraft fuel, and diesel as fuel for trucks.

After the products are produced from the oil refinery process, these products are distributed to
consumers using pipeline or can use a car to transport fuel to the petrol pump.
