SUPERVISOR

(DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)

1. Get or take note of the Orders of customer and introduce new products or
items;
2. Assign the filling-up and completion of order to co-employee;
3. Promptly act on the requisition to fill-up order to avoid filling-up of pending
orders;
4. Check-out the correctness of the receipt and items for release;
5. Make sure that the order is complete in the section concerned. See to it that
every stock taken therefrom is seen on CCTV and call-up the boy / helper to
assist in the delivery;
6. Inspect for any damage and separate the items of the store from that of the
other suppliers to avoid mix-up / confusion. When needed, ask another
(saleslady) to do the replacement;
7. While waiting for the filling-up of order, get enough personal information from
the customer to distinguish him/her from the others for future reference;
8. When taking big orders, check the items which are not available in store and
warehouse then formally inform the officer in-charge about the needed items;
9. Determine from the order list which items are available on stock, then send the
order list to the 2nd floor for the manager to take care of completing the items
ordered;
10. From time to time, make inventory to find out which items are lacking in the
store and replace them with new items from the warehouse to make complete
stocks in store for sale;
11. From the order of customer, items which cannot be completed must be
immediately coordinate the ordering of which from the supplier, and then
inform the customer when the items arrived;
12. Write down the three (3) default grade price as ready reference. Have it double
checked by the manager;
13. Give proper training to all saleslady as to:
a) Precise counting and quick items preparation to fill-up orders;
b) Product knowledge as to features and characteristics, brand and price;
c) Testing the items sold;
d) Organizing the retrieval of stocks from the section and determine the proper
place of payment;
e) Exact writing of items on the receipts with particularity of items sold;
f) Well development of attitude to find out who is qualified for salary increase;
g) Being organized in putting things / tools in its respective places;
h) Able to avoid the bad habit of committing carelessness and unnecessary
mistakes by coordinating well with co-saleslady, peers and co-worker.
