International Lead Consultant: Responsibilities
Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and implemented by the Department of Energy (DOE) is in search of an International Consultant and a National Consultant to conduct the Project Mid-term Evaluation. The project aims to help reduce the in the long-term the annual growth rate of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from activities using fossils fuels through the removal of the major barriers to the development and widespread utilization of renewable energy (RE) systems to replace part of the current fossil fuel use in the Philippines.
National Consultant
Responsibilities : 1. Participate actively in the documentation review and data-gathering 2. Contribute to the development of the evaluation plan and methodology 3. Conduct elements of the evaluation as determined by the International Lead Consultant
4. Contribute to the presentation of the evaluation findings and recommendations at the evaluation wrap-up meeting 5. Contribute to the drafting and finalization of the evaluation report
Qualifications : 1. Post-graduate in Engineering, Management or Business, or college degree in said areas with at least 10 years of project development and implementation 2. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in RE and related climate change projects 3. RE and climate change training and technical expertise 4. Knowledge of RE industry and projects 5. Experience in multilateral and bilateral funded project development and implementation 6.
