What is Promise?

Dallas County Promise is a
last-dollar scholarship that covers
tuition (cost of classes) at partner colleges
and offers dedicated student supports
for 2022 Dallas County high school
graduates from participating campuses with
options for all Texas residents!

How do students become eligible?

qPledge SENIOR YEAR by February 2, 2022:

www.DallasCountyPromise.org. Pledge is only complete NEW!
once submission confirmation with ID received.
Promise Priority

residents & meet application deadlines are
guaranteed to have their tuition covered at any
Dallas College and some 4-year Universities

2. ALL MEANS ALL: Options for ALL TX resident


students at the 57 participating high schools
regardless of income or high school GPA, including
DACA/DREAMer students!

3. REMINDERS + RESOURCES: Promise staff


reminders, resources, and support during senior year
after completing the Pledge via email and text!

4. NO OBLIGATION: Promise Pledge must have


been completed by February 2, 2022 to be
eligible, but there may be better college and financial
aid options outside of Promise – decide what is the
best fit college option for you!

5. STUDENT SUPPORT: Dedicated support staff
