1. Research design:
This study is going to follow both qualitative and quantitative research. To analyze the
study, the researcher will focus on two types of approaches: the analytic-linguistic
approach and the intuitive-imitative approach. The study will survey students from
different private universities in Bangladesh. The necessary data to conduct this research
will be collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires by visiting five
private universities in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The total number of students and teachers to
be surveyed is 60. Among them, the number of students will be 50 and the number of
teachers will be 10. During the interview session, both the students and the teacher will
be provided with questions.

linguistic approach and (2) the intuitive-imitative approach.
According to Hismanoglu and Hismanoglu (2010, p-984) the intuitive-imitative approach
focuses on students' ability to listen and imitate sounds of the target language. Meanwhile
Lee (2008) the analytic approach learners are provided information with phonetic
alphabet, articulatory description, and vocal charts.

The study will follow both random sampling and systematic sampling to collect the data.
In systematic sampling the researcher will choose students from the English Department
of five private universities in Dhaka, Bangladesh and in random sampling total 50
students and 10 teachers will be selected randomly.
