MUSEUM
This image was created for Henning
Larsen Architects. The project was
nominated for best commissioned
image in the 2020’s 3d awards by
cgarchitect.com. The brief from the
architect was to show the main
circulation atrium in a museum in
northern Norway. It was a very open
brief - They wanted to exhibit a blue
whale skeleton and create a sense of
being underwater in the space. I
investigated a few different approaches
to create this sense and ended up using
light projections of water caustics. This
gave a unique feeling of the space and
created a captivating composition for
the image.

Ths image was created for Henning
Larsen. It is clearly capturing the
building concept and gives it a crisp
appearance. The snowy winter feeling
and the warmth from the interior
highlights the volumes’ shifting
composition and shows the relation
between the wonky pine trees in the
region and their relation to the
building's facade.
