1. UNIT GOALS AND PROGRESS TOWARDS GOALS/SPECIFIC BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT
PLANS: The goals of the unit include remaining in routine, showing respect, and exhibiting appropriate behavior. For the most part Aleesia is able to meet the goals and expectations of the unit. 2. ADJUSTMENT TO UNIT ROUTINE: (A) COMPLIANCE WITH ROUTINE, GROUP PROGRAMMING AND BEHAVIOR DURING TRANSITION TIMES IN RELATIONSHIP TO CURRENT LEVEL: In the beginning Aleesia struggled with complying with unit routine and transitioning. Electronics such as the TV or tablet seemed to play a major part in Aleesia not transitioning on time or refusing parts of routine. Aleesia has shown improvement in participating in group activities, not requesting to utilize the television or DVD player throughout the day.

3. SOCIAL SKILLS:
(A) INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS/INTERACTIONS WITH STAFF: Aleesia has
developed healthy relationships with some staff on the unit. Aleesia is very expressive and communicates very well with staff. Aleesia had an incident where she attempted to hit a staff for addressing her discourteous language and activated the egress door and attempted to hit staff with pool balls. For the most part Aleesia follows staff directives or redirection. (B) INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS/INTERACTIONS WITH PEERS: Aleesia likes to spend time away from her peers as she has expressed it helps her stay away from negativity. Aleesia will interact with her peers during routine where a group is being held. Aleesia is very expressive to peers whom she doesn’t like and wants to stay away from. Aleesia has shown she can refrain from engaging in unhealthy peer behaviors and coexist with peers even if they aren’t friends. CRITICAL INCIDENTS:

4. DEMONSTRATED SKILLS/AREAS FOR DEVELOPMENT: Aleesia has made some noted
improvements in her behavior and engaging in groups during her time at SAI. Aleesia is encouraged to keep utilizing her positive coping skills and refraining from negative peer interactions.
