TITLE: MAKING POSITIVE IMPACT IN YOUR GENERATION

Memory verse: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the
faith:Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous

INTRODUCTION: God almighty in his sovereignty is a God of impact who is constantly
impacting on His creatures and creation. The evidence of life in any animate or inanimate object
is its contribution or impact. Anything that stop making impact ceases to live though may still be
existing.For instance,plant produces the oxygen for the animals(including man) while it also
depends on the animals for CO2 . All the elements and forces of nature are design and created
for impact!The SUN,MOON,STARS, AIR,WATER,LAND etc. Everything created by God is
designed for an impact.No one is useless! Strong or weak, old or young,educated or not,
popular or anonymous.God said in Isa 43:7 :Even every one that is called by my name: for I have
created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him…verse 21 says “they shall
shew forth my praise”. In Isa 44:21 “Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my
servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. God
works, even till now! Lord Jesus Christ spent His entire life working,serving humanity as it is
written of Him.. The disciples and apostles turn the then known world upside down with the
gospel-serving their generation.The only and major assignment for the church or the great
commission is to “Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost..” The mandate from the savior according to
Luke 19:13 is “Occupy till I come “ serving your generation in any capacity you are endowed by
God.Failure to do this, “.. thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty”1Sam20:18.That
is many destinies will suffer and you will be punished!No excuse is tenable!! No reason is
reasonable!!!

CONCLUSION:
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive
